Wincing seeing that he'd done some more damage he'd wanted to in a simple spar the deputy leaned over to sniff at the wound to make sure it wasnt too serious, "Ah, damn Im really sorry Cal, had no idea I was hittin' that hard, guess I need ta mind my strength." He really did feel bad. Crowtooth loved fighting generally, loved the rush of adrenaline and maybe the bloodshed a mite more then he should, lets blame the warriors blood in his veins. However, what he did not like was hurting clanmates, ever too soft hearted on them, and Cal counted as one of those to Crowtooth.



So he hadnt meant to do this and offered a shoulder to lean on as the two headed back to camp, rasping "Ya held yer own though, Im really impressed wit' how ya managed. Do ya need ta see Lightningstorm? Now that yer in a clan ya can get some healin' no issue, even fer little things." Crowtooth himself got treated (though often without his say so) for minor things frequently though one did have to put up with Lightningstorms snarking to do so.

It was hard to not enjoy the casual company, especially with the satisfaction of sore muscles earned doing something worthwhile. The deputy chuckled, tail flicking and rasped a companionable "Well ya got me good in return! I can feel some bruises formin' that are gonna ache tomorrow fer sure. Now though time fer some food, maybe something nice off o' the prey pile, come on." as the tom lead Cal back to camp, day drawing to a close.
