Vinepaw listend to his leaders words so many new apprentice he thought silently though he was dragged from his thoughts by the sound of a small squeaky yet familiar voice. Moonkit he whipped his head around searching for his sister. He grinned at the little lot it was amazing to see her to hear her voice he was caught of guard with her parting words though..Mom was proud..he let in a shaky breath but pushed his feelings down they would have to wait.
Turning his attention back he realized he had almost missed the most important part his own ceremony taking a step forward he held his head high “I do” he vowed he would fight until his last breath of that meant keeping his friends,Rabbitpaw,Lightningpaw, his family,Deadmoon, and his clan mates safe.

Re: WindClan Galewood
Hawkkit let out a low growl when Fernkit's name was called. How come he got to be an apprentice. Mouse dung! He muttered, looking up to see Songkit. He looked away quickly and tried to meet his mother's eyes. Would she be disappointed in him?

"I think we can start after the meeting." Scorpionsight, a soft smile having made its way onto her face.
The bengal listened as Maplepaw continued. She named two apprentices that Scorpionsight's honestly only heard the names of. "I'm sure we can make it a goal."
Daffodilpaw blinked at the announcement. A new mentor? Well, that explained why she'd had a hard time finding Elkjump for training lately. So many missing cats... He mind fluttered to her mother, but she pushed the thought away. She caught her brother's gaze and shrugged. She couldn't have told him about it ahead of time because she didn't even know herself! But she couldn't dwell on it right now. Daffodilpaw leapt to her paws and bounded over to the tom she thought was Snowybreeze, she vaguely remembered seeing him referenced during the fires.
Once she reached him, she immediately touched noses with him in greeted and smiled brightly. "Hiya! I'm Daffodilpaw! When can we get started?" She asked, crouching into a playful bow. But she stopped when Twilightstar started Vinepaw's warrior ceremony, sitting with her tail waving excitedly behind her.
Reassignments... Fleetpaw chanted his new denmates' names distractedly, it was the next part of the meeting that he was most interested in. Not that he doubted Twilightstar would follow through! Not at all! He knew Twilightstar would never...unless she changed her mind and thought he was unworthy?! That was possible right?? Well, he wasn't anxious about it before but now he was! Fleetpaw was twitching his paws while he watched, crouched with paws tucked under him as they shuffled. He must have looked like he was sitting on something uncomfortable, but he wasn't thinking about that right now.
Then, she said it. Training with Dustbunny. It was official!! He's going to train as a tunneler! The skinny cat practically bounced onto his paws, then ducked his head with embarrassment. He wasn't used to all of this excited energy, was this...what joy was like? Like, pure joy and happiness? Whatever it was, it lit the apprentice's eyes and bushed out his pelt. He felt like he was tingling with it all over, and it thrilled him. Fleetpaw bounded over to Dustbunny and touched noses with her, blinking gratefully at his new mentor. "Th-Thank you, Ma'am! I won't let you or the clan down!" He purred. He wasn't used to purring, it startled him. The sound was so different...but it was nice!
Before he fully immersed himself in this feeling, something else tugged at the back of his mind. Fadingdawn...she was my first mentor... I hope she isn't mad at me or anything. He quickly searched the eyes of his clanmates as he sat near Dustbunny while Twilightstar continued the meeting. Finding Fadingpaw's eyes, he blinked at her gratefully, hoping that she would understand that he wasn't ungrateful to her and all that she had done for him.
Heathernose looked down at Hawk-kit and purred softly. "Everything will work out Hawk-kit. Perhaps this was what StarClan intended." She murmured, touching her muzzle affectionately to her son's head. Heathernose turned as Fernpaw came up to them, purred and licking her son's ear lovingly. "I will miss you too, Fernpaw. I'm proud of you." She meowed, glancing at her kits. "I'm proud of all of you. And your siblings will join you shortly, Fernpaw. The time will fly by." She touched her nose to Fernpaw's, blinking warmly at her son.
She wished with all her heart that Lionscar could be there to see their kits now...and Rabbitkit here to join her littermates. Grief threatened to seize her heart, but she pushed it away. She needed to be here for her kits, needed to support them. Love them unconditionally. She licked them each on the head between their ears, she just couldn't believe that Fernpaw was an apprentice already. And soon, her other kits will follow suit. Then she'd be back to her normal warrior duties. She had to admit, she missed being a warrior. But she's loved being in the nursery. "Fernpaw, be sure to say hi to Fallenpaw for me okay?" She mewed, wrapping her tail around Hawk-kit, Ferretkit, and Songkit. Gosh they were so big...
"Now look, Vinepaw is about to become a warrior." She murmured, nodding her head at where Twilightstar called Vinepaw forward.
Oh dear starclan the beast was back! Why had no one locked this thing away for the good of the clan (and Crowtooth's stress levels).
Freezing as if Strawberrykit was a little t-rex who was attracted to movement and would go away if he was just still enough the deputy cursed under his breath as that just didnt seem to be the case. There was no escaping the interaction it seemed, though maybe he could deflect a bit....
"Well kiddo I'd love ta teach you some battle moves." A blatant lie, Crowtooth was sweating under his fur and feared for his life at the idea of being in chomping range of this little weirdo. "But now aint the time. This is a meetin', we're supposed ta listen ta Twilightstar, not bite. Ya could get inta trouble if ya dont behave so no bitin' right now...." Please take the bait and ignore the unintentional weaknesses in Crowtooths excuses and turn your crazy eyes on someone else....

This cat was strange. And that was... saying something, considering if Strawberrykit had a normal mind enough to assess herself, she'd realize that she was the one others found strange. Unfortunately for Crowtooth, Strawberrykit had not gotten the memo at all. In fact, one corner of her little brain decided that she liked this weird, missing-bits cat. He had promised again to teach her battle moves, after all.
Selective hearing was a powerful thing for unruly kits, because Strawberrykit only waddled closer. Waddled? Slunk? The former, more like, since she was still a three-moon old baby, going on four. Round doe-eyes that she'd inherited from her mother (on Berryfrost, they'd fit. on Strawberrykit, they sold her creepy look more) fixed on the black and white deputy, the fluffy kitten stood on her hindlegs, white paws braced on the roots a little below where Crowtooth sat. "Up."
Admittedly Crowtooth got distracted for a moment by ceremonies, a tinge of irritation lacing his pelt when Swiftleap didnt turn up after all the training they did. Especially when Crowtooth had taught him how important ceremonies were to clan cats. But there was also pride and the tom grinned wide when Vinepaw came up, excited for the young tunneler to take the next step.
The raptor at his paws took him down to earth however. She was cute he could admit that but the deputy had met coyotes before and they had the exact same air as the little waddling thing. The cute was a lie! He knew it was a lie! She wanted to bite him and allowing her close would only enable her! But....
But the wittle baby wanted uppies and it was really hard to say no. Emotionally and socially. If he rejected her and she cried the queens would skin him alive and on top of him feeling awful so there really just was no choice.
He just had to deal with whatever the consequences where for this.
Huffing the tom rasped a (begrudgingly) soft "Alright kiddo, ya can sit wit' me on the special deputy perch as long as ya behave." and leaned over to grab her scruff and lift her onto the roots with him, settling her between his paws so she wouldnt fall. "Not a bad view yeah? Ya can see everyone gathered like this, though Twi up in the branches prolly has the best in the clan. Ya 'ave ta become leader ta get up there though so no climbing kiddo." Crowtooth had learned his lesson on not warning kittens against climbing with Egretkits sticky paws incident.
"Look, Vinepaws becomin' a tunneler warrior, its harder then bein' a normal warrior 'cuz ya gotta learn more skills but its super impressive. Ya got any thoughts on what ya wanna train ta become?"
Perhaps it was a bit too early and DUMB to try and recruit the raptor to the dark side tunnelers but Crowtooth was biased.
