Re: StarClan Camp
- Sootkit -
starclan - he/him - 29 moons dead
That was too close for comfort. Far to close. He was still shaking from a mix of adrenaline and fear, his very skin feeling as though it was static, white noise filling his ears. He didn't dare take a breath of relief, as if he could jinx himself. He couldnt let this happen again. He had to have a fall back. He had to have some kind of control. Sootkit stood there for a little while, to allow himself a chance to calm down, and process what had just happened. Once he was ready he closed his eyes and shifted his focus. He had to figure out a way to prevent this, or some way to remedy death itself.
..or reverse it?
I mean, it wasn't a crazy concept, he'd done it once before for Fireflame. But that was before the covenant. He didnt trust those foxhearts one bit, all they want is to rule the afterlife, and theyre not doing a very good job at it. Theyre allowing murderers a second chance at life, but denying kits. The starclan/darkforest border has been down for SEASONS now and theyve done nothing. Example; the two dark forest cats currently in starclan camp. Ah, but enough about them, he needed to concentrate. Would it be possible to resurrect a cat himself still? Surely someone had tried to, surely.
..this would require further research.

Re: StarClan Camp
Jaystride knew they were just kids, knew he should probably be more patient, but he also recalled Bumblestar's generation fondly and expected better from ThunderClan's youth.
Their apparent lack of an attention span was just frustrating to him. Cinds 'n him worked hard on that prophecy, to have the apprentices not take the vision and omens seriously was... was...! It screamed RiverClan to him, and he hated it. He didn't feel bad about worldweaving that rock at that one kid's head, he was glad that wasn't the one he had a paw in choosing and hoped it knocked some sense into him. Next time the rock would be bigger!
No, Hollowpaw had handled the prophecy better... but it did make Jaystride wonder how things might've been different had Bumblestar's first played out. Unfortunately, his omen had come last minute - but so had the ..behavior. The warning signs he recognized, and later came to fruition in the guise of going missing.
Jaystride shook his head, stopping his pace around the clearing. He kinda wanted to visit the kid, just didn't make much sense to yet...

Re: StarClan Camp
Bravepaw
I won't fall down you need me
+ anypronouns + No purrks
huh
All she wanted was to take a nap having been entirely exhausted, that was all it was. Yet she was in some place new and not in the medicine cat's den with her brother. Bravepaw didn't want to be here she wanted to back home with her brother, not here. It didn't help that she was scared to be here since she couldn't spot anyone recognizable around here. Was mom here too or was she still alive? Brave never found out since she had vanished and her fate was unknown. Wait, did Starclan have ways of watching the living? They had to know if they were all aware of what was happening down there. Her only problem was finding someone that would show her all of that silly stuff. Brave hadn't been ready to leave the living just yet, she had wanted to witness her brother being the clan's best plant cat and she wanted her warrior name. For now, she sat there slumped in what she felt was defeat and tried to gather up her rolling emotions.

Re: StarClan Camp
Speaking of kids.
Jaystride flickered his gaze over to the new arrival. He didn't know her personally, probably couldn't tell someone her name, but! What he did know was she came from ThunderClan.
She seemed... defeated. Yeah, that wasn't going to slide with him. There was no point moping around in death, it just made one's existence useless and miserable. "Hey kid, what's the long face about?" Other than the whole dying thing, 'cause that was a given.

Re: StarClan Camp
Blazingstar rested in the center of the camp. He wasn't like the typical cat who hid in the corners, he liked being front and center in the crowd and being seen by anyone. He'd been getting back into the dream-walking lately. Whisperinghive being the latest of the slew he'd visited. There wasn't another form of entertainment right now -- aside from the former warriors of his time visiting from the Dark Forest.
He'd recall their faces. Bogtumble and his pal, and while they weren't close during his rule, he could vaguely recall their time in the living. What had they done to get into the Dark Forest? They had died during the time Blazingstar was absent, so he didn't know their stories. Part of him wanted to visit the border, maybe run into them again and ask. He wanted details, to be filled in.
The thoughts ran rampant in his mind as he basked in the starlit sunshine. The gears clearly turning in his mind when you'd stare into those golden eyes. Maybe... maybe he would go ask...
