Cobweb looked at Asfrid with sad eyes, but nodded. She padded over to the nest, laying down beside Red. Her eyes filled with sorrow as she looked at his tiny leg.

* Red stopped drinking from Asfrid and crawled over to Cobweb. He nuzzled in against her belly and purred lightly. Asfrid gently nuzzled Cobweb and gave her a small smile. *
" Mama? I-i's know it's bad. B-but we make it through. "
