May not need a warrior after the... Bouncepaw's eyes widen as he finally catches on, and he sighs in relief and happiness for the older apprentice. He was worried the announcement might be bad news, but it looked like it was good news. Very good news.

"Maybe I can go too," He adds, more of an afterthought. He didn't have to go, it was just a suggestion. Tunneling sounded fun.

As Vinepaw mentions Lightningpaw, the older apprentice, Bouncepaw falls silent again. He hadn't seen the other cat much either.

Lightningpaw would come out of the Apprentices den the small orange cat had been working hard to become the best warrior he could for Twilightstar. After all he has had a string of Mentors who by clan standards were considered some of the greatest in the Clan first Bravebird and now his current mentor and leader Twilightstar. As such Lightningpaw had decided he should do his best to learn the ins and outs. (open for anyone)

The bundle of clouds made his way over at Twilightstar’s call, he remained in a particularly cheery mood. It was a relief the fires hadn’t hurt Windclan too badly, he wove through the growing crowd desperately trying to find a place he didn’t stick out.

Sometimes he still felt like a bit of an outsider, never properly fitting in with the rest. But it was okay with him, as much as he liked fun and joking around Cottonpaw preferred to attempt at being responsible. Maybe he hadn’t yet found the right trouble maker.

His haunches lowered as he finally found somewhere he was content with.
