Something…thick. Warm and wet, with tiny pokey teeth. The tiny but mighty dilute calico she-kit was rolled onto her back by this…attacker. Her teeny-tiny pokey kitten claws unsheathed and she battered the air around her to fend off this intruder - or rather she flailed and mewled helplessly as her squirming tumbled her away from the warmth of the belly she was just at. She found herself surrounded by a new warmth, which a completely scent. Was it friend or foe? She roared mightily in defense (or squeaked) just in case. She was taking no chances!

As Talonkit was given a name, she seemed to take pride in the choice. Even though the little cat was unable to see or hear, she seemed to recognize when the older cat's attention was on her. The feeling of eyes on her burned a sense of glory in her, as she began to calm down and become content with the attention.
Despite her siblings bickering, she seemed to be unbothered as she squirmed her way over to her caretaker to nurse.

The kit mews as her head is tugged forward by a surging warmth, her legs stretching out against her squeaking sibling. There is a buzzing vibration in the air, a brushing wind over her fur, and she lifts her head as one big, big cat speaks her name over her head: Olivekit.

But the gentle moment is very much so broken for the kit by the continuous yowling of one of her siblings. Olivekit is jostled around as the squirming of some of the kits chains to the rest of the kits. She lets out one cut-off squeak as she is nudged one way, another squeak as she is pushed another way- until, finally, Olivekit flails her paws fearfully, her own motion causing her to roll- roll- over onto that same silvery kit near her that had been making so much noise.

The tiny kit continued to screech its tragic song, until a weight pushed against him. What the hell? What was this?! OUTRAGEOUS! WHO DARE ROLL ON TOP OF THE MIGHTY--err-
The kit had no knowledge of the concept of names, so he started flailing blindly, yowling. Off. OFF! THEY WANTED OFF! Why in the fresh hell did this tiny monster think she could do something like this to him?

He was powerful, strong, and the best of all. And he should NOT be ran over!

Pulling Mimickit to his face and giving his only son a loving lick on his head, he would think carefully. "How about Mimickit for our son. Yarrowkit for the other calico.. and Blackkit for the black and white one?"

He would look at Owl and smile. Their family was finally here.

The Dancing Bird

Owlthroat smiled as the names rolled off Tuftedtusk’s tongue, they felt just right. ”They’re nice, fitting names”, one by one his eyes roamed over the youngsters. He couldn’t wait to let them go off into the world and explore, they’d have plenty of fun along the way.

Owlthroat leaned into Tuftedtusk, a smile playing now gently on his lips. He leaned a paw forward dangling it over their heads seeing which would grasp at it first.

Mimickit. Ah yes. Though the little kit could neither hear nor speak, he knew exactly what was up. He felt a paw ghost over his head, and instantly, he was MAD AGAIN! With tiny outstretched paws, he claws and grabbed at the much larger paw, in the process also attempting to nip at it. Whoever this was, BETTER know who was the greatest out here! Because it wasn't them! It was him! And him only!
