"Yeah." Skykit frowned. Why did she have to have white fur? It ruined everything! She listened closer to Patchkit. "Oh yeah! I can't wait for leaf-bare!" She turned around and lifted a paw to put over her eyes. 1.... 2..... 3...... 4.... 5..... 6.... 7... 8... 9..... 10! She quickly turned around and started to look for patchkit. She looked where she hid.. nothing. She looked by the warriors den, the apprentice den, and even the leaders den! But, still nothing! She tried to smell, but she couldn't smell the kit. She decided to play a joke to try to make patchkit come out. She ran, and then pretended to trip. "Ouch!" She screamed. She hoped it was loud enough for patchkit. It sounded fake, but oh well. @Dolomedes

His ears flicked up after he heard the sound of Skykit’s yell, and he immediately wiggled out of his hiding spot and started towards the smaller kit. “Skykit! Are you okay? What happened?” He came to a stop at the kit’s side and started to sniff at her face and shoulders to try and sense any metallic scent of blood or fresh soil from falling or something like that. Only to find nothing. But maybe she got scared of something or something like that? Did something scary happen like the fires? Patchkit looked around but didn’t see any panic so he looked to Skykit again waiting for a response.

"I gotcha!" Skykit rolled around laughing. She stopped after a moment or two and stood up to face patchkit. She looked at his face. It looked.... worried. "Did I take it too far?" Her ears flattened in shame. "I'm sorry. I was just trying to get you to come out of your hiding spot. I would have never found you." She explained. @Dolomedes

Oh! Skykit was just playing pretend! Patchkit blinked and remained quiet for a moment after watching the younger kit lapse into guilt before he slowly shook his head, “I forgive you! But don’t play that kind of trick again! I thought something was really wrong.” He spoke before patting the kitten's head and then hopping away with another giggle, “Tag! You’re it!” And then he ran away, stubby legs were his fault when playing games with kits his age but he could probably have a pretty equal game with Skykit! He didn’t want to see her sad for long, he wasn’t good at comforting but he was good at pretending to be okay and providing distraction from the sad.

Skykit looked up. "Okay! I won't do it ever again!" She felt a quick pat on her head followed by patchkits voice saying 'Tag! You're it!' Skykit grinned and chased after patchkit. Patchkit was slow, but so was skykit! She ran as fast as her legs would let her run. She was starting to catch up. She got closer and closer until she was running right beside patchkit. She lightly tapped them and squealed "Now you're it!" She rushed past patchkit trying to not get caught. The wind rushed past her face. @Dolomedes

Patchkit huffed as Skykit eventually caught up to him despite his attempts to change directions to throw her off his heels. Though as she squealed and turned to take her turn at running away, Patchkit pivoted on his paws and started after the kitten. “I’m gonna catch you!” He called out playfully between breaths. If only running wasn’t so difficult for the ginger tom, then maybe he would be catching Skykit no questions asked! After being unable to fully catch up despite being right at Skykit’s heels, Patchkit suddenly put all of his strength into lunging forward to try and tackle the other kit with a laugh.

Skykit was having so much fun. She didn't even notice how close Patchkit was to her. She felt Patchkit jump on her. She tumbled over along with patchkit. "Ha!" She squealed. She liked patchkit. They were fun. She kept tumbling then finally stopped. She got on top of patchkit and lightly pinned them to the ground, making sure they didn't get hurt. "I gotcha!" @Dolomedes

Patchkit landed with a small ‘oof’ as Skykit pinned him down! “No fair!” And he stuck out his tongue before falling into a fit of giggles showing he wasn’t actually upset at the other kit. But then he gave a toothy smile before pushing his front paws up into the she-cats face lightly. “Back! I’ll fall to no Riverclan warrior!” Skykit played pretend earlier so maybe she’ll play pretend fight where Patchkit was the Windclan warrior and Skykit was the Riverclan warrior. Though on a second thought he dropped his paws and added on, “Oh wait, do you want to be the Windclan warrior or the Riverclan warrior?”

Skykit giggled. She stepped off of the kit. "I'll be the fish that's gonna beat you!" She teased. She stuck her tongue back at patchkit after. She put it away and then giggled. "I bet you cant beat me!" She liked this game. It was fun. It helped her work on her 'fighting skills.' She was gonna show patchkit just how good she was at this game! @Dolomedes
