Beepaw came scampering out of the apprentice den to join the meeting, a bright expression on his face. Yet as he approached the gathered cats he could practically feel the tension that had built up. His fur was on end and his ears flattened to his head as he looked on at the unfolding chaos. What he did manage to catch what some cat hurting her own kit, and taking a quick look to see a queen grabbing her kits, he could only assume that was the perpetrator. Yikes, the young apprentice didn't even want to imagine his parent doing something like that to him.

Willowpaw was still shocked about what happened. She had stopped shaking, but she was still terrified. She couldn't move, she was frozen to the spot. She couldn't move. The event had left her horrified. Her eyes were frozen like her body. Willow's eyes were clouded with fear. [OPEN]

As she watched the site in front of her, her gaze simply grew more and more horrified. No kit deserved to be treated like that! Sure, they could be troublesome, but to hear a poor practically newborn kit squeal like that cause of its own mother? That had her shaken and horrified. Her main focus was the well-being of the litter at this point. She spotted her own adopted daughter, padding up to her quietly. “Hey Willow, hun. Shhh now. I’m going to see what I can do okay? Just take deep breaths.” she mumbled reassuringly to the apprentice.

The she then approached BumbleStar, hoping to not face her wrath, but it was a risk she was willing to take. She dipped her head kindly to the leader. “BumbleStar…I know I’m a warrior but if you…uhm…need someone to take care of the kits I’d be happy to assist in doing so. I…took WillowPaw in and all. Just…if you need.” she offered a bit hesitantly, though it was clear she was ready for the task and had all good intentions.

Willowpaw snapped back to reality when she heard mama's voice. "Mama?" She whispered as she looked at her. "I'm happy your my ma. I know you would never hurt me." She shivered. No cat in their right mind would hurt a kit.

Dawnpaw looks at orangeflower n willowpaw. "I'd be willing to help entertain and play with them." Dawnpaw stood with the other apprentice there was no reason for larkswoop to cuff the kits ear like that. "Maybe we should take hawkkit to the med den?" She asked willow. @Spooky_Blossom

The hiss of a queen followed by the shrill scream of a kit was enough to worry Honeypetal enough to swiftly turn around. The sight was nearly enough to make her cry. But she didn't cry, instead she roared out to the angry she, "YOU!"

Honeypetal could not believe his eyes. Anger, sadness, everything bad piled up inside of him. He couldn't help but snarl at Larkswoop. Saying that he was disapproving and disappointed in her actions would be an understatement. Those poor kits had to deal with such an asshole for a mother, the whole situation was sickening. There was blood. There was yelling. Bumblestar, Wolfpaw, and several other cats gathered nearby now as the whole thing went down.

There were apprentices having to witness this. Kits and apprentices. Because StarClan forbid bad things not be witnessed by all the young cats these days. The expression of disgust and fury did not leave Honeypetal's face as they stood with a protective stance and growled. They didn't plan to fight yet, but they couldn't contain the emotions they were feeling towards this.

"Out," Honeypetal said through gritted teeth and a tight jaw, keeping in all of the curses she wanted to tell. Stars above, this was kit abuse happening right in front of her eyes, and she knew that the high ranks wouldn't let it slide, either. And they sure didn't.

His expression softened a bit as he saw the distressed kits, the poor young ones who deserved nothing like this, and he wished he could grab the kits and protect them. "They don't deserve this. You, they don't deserve you."

They mumbled, "I'd put 'em down if I were you."

He arrived a bit after everyone, and sat down in the back, the front already beeing filled with other cats...

What was happening, again that same question... It wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but sometime it was. But he had to be here to listen to what was beeing said... Everything should be fine right? No problems in the meeting, right?

But then the scream.

The tom's heart jumped in his chest when Bumblestar screamed in rage at someone...

Oh... No...

The tom felt his ears flatten on his head, and a drop of sweat appeared on his temple. That was why he was so scared to... Mention his past, because others might actually find out what he was really.

And if they found out, he was as good as dead. He was always scared that a high rank found out, and exiled him, thus depriving him of his objective... Be the best.

He calmed down, composing himself back to normal...

'Calm down Smokefang, calm down... Nothing's gonna happen...'

Darkholly´s ears twitched as she watched Larkswoop flee the camp. Her green hues narrowed down to slits after a few moments. She understood the tabby´s frustration. Hawkkit had screamed out a meeting.

However, the warrior did not sympathize with the kit. Sure, Larkswoop was wrong to have aimed a blow at her own child, but Hawkkit had brought it on himself. Darkholly didn´t mention anything about it, though.

Redhawk - ThunderClan Hornet

Oh... wow. As Larkswoop's paw came down hard on her kit, the hornet felt her heart lurch in her chest, the first shock of feeling she'd had since Elkpaw's death. Instinctively her claws were out, eyes wide as she watched the coward race from camp, standing up too late to do much of anything about it. Her jaws were parted, dismay clear across her expression as her head went towards the two kits. Already a crowd was forming around them, some comforting voices cooing towards the newborns. They were safe. Larkswoop was exiled, thankfully.

Her heart still racing in her chest, Redhawk sat back down and tried to work on controlling her breathing. Her head swung around towards the entrance once more, as if waiting for the exiled warrior to appear. A voice in her head screamed at her that if she had moved faster maybe she could've prevented it - like she hadn't stopped Crowpaw's betrayal, or Elkpaw's death. It yowled at her what an unfit Hornet she was, and the russet-furred she-cat gritted her teeth as she looked back to the crowd.

She didn't have much strength left, but it was the thought of Elkpaw that had her standing and padding forward on numb legs to sit closer towards the entrance. Redhawk knew by the way Larkswoop had fled that the warrior likely wouldn't be coming back, but she didn't care. It made her feel better knowing that, on the off chance she did, the hornet would be a physical shield between her and her Clanmates - especially those kits.

If it would mean she would be able to stop that, then it was worth it. From her new spot near the entrance, the hornet lifted her head and refocused on the meeting, Elkpaw's face still shimmering in her mind. He would be proud of the baby steps she was taking to get back to her rank, wouldn't he?

Nightgaze flashed a brief smile of greeting as Strawberryfur appeared next to her, astonished expression vanishing a second before returning. Yep...that was Springlight and boy she looked..broken. "I uh..I think Springlight's back...didn't think she was alive..." she mumbled quietly in reply before trailing off, still a bit startled by the suddenly back to life med appearing right in front of her eyes.

Her bewilderment was cut short however, as a shrill scream pierced her ears. The small hornet snapped her head around in horror as furious snarls replaced the shocked silence in a mater of moments. The sight before her made her blood boil: a mere kitten reduced to crying mess by the harsh slap of his mother's own paw. Crimson dripped from the kit's ear while Larkswoop acted like she had done nothing wrong and was snapping at Wolfpaw who was confronting her on such a heinous deed.


This... This would not stand.

Without wasting another moment, Nightgaze raced alongside Strawberryfur in a blaze of fury, aiming to block such a heartless cat from laying another paw on her kits. Pitch black fur bristling like a burr, and razor sharp claws unsheathing in case things got violent, well, increasingly violent. Vivid green hues flared dangerous and she made a barricade with her body to guard the kits. No way she'd ever be allowed a step closer to her poor children and if Larkswoop dared to, Nightgaze would be quick to enforce karma.
