The she padded into the camp enthusiastically with a rabbit in her mouth as she walked up to the old tabby she cat sitting in front of the medicine cat's den. "Hello CardninalMist would you like some rabbit." The she looked down at the old tabby she as she laid down the rabbit for the elder.

The old she watched as the young cat dropped a small rabbit at her paws, the she shook her head as she slowly breathed. "I don't know how much longer I can stay awake you must tell TwilightStar that tonight I will pass onto Starclan." The she took a deep breath after saying that sentence as the other she padded to the leaders den.

brrrr!!! it is freezing! why is her fur not protecting her from this cold! she's standing in the sunshine! and her nose is all runny! bah!

teeth chattering, egretkit's fur fluffs to deflect the cold temperatures. this is one of the first times she's experienced such a brutal cold (it's not that cold, she's simply tiny), and she's starting to think that she doesn't like this leaff-foool. the name is odd, but sounds pretty! though, it doesn't make much sense to her at all. she doesn't see any leaves falling right now. there are some on the ground near the kit corrals, but those have already fallen. so, why is it leaf-foool when they've already fallen? she tilts her head, brows furrowing in deep thought.

anywho, she's heard this is not even the coldest it will get. it'll get colder in a few moons! that's CRAZY! at this rate, her and all her kit friends (siblings and cousins and friends alike) will have to cuddle with not only firesis, but maybe all the queens in the nursery. which, actually, now that she thinks about it, does not sound that bad. maybe she could even get papa to come sleep in the nursery for a night, or miss twillystar like she planned. gah, she's getting off track!

what was that season again..?, she wonders, wracking her brain to remember what comes after leaf-fall. "leaf..leaf shiver...umm, no..uhm.." she murmurs, frowning and failing to remember. she heard from a few big cats that it snows during leaf-whatever. she has no idea what the heck snow is! time to ask somebody!

jumping up and looking around wildly, she spots a sort of familiar figure. cardinalkit, her cousin (and one of the many babies firesis also took care of)! "cardinalkit! cardi!" egretkit chirps, bounding over to the calico. "do you know what snow is? I heard some big cats talking about it! I hear it happens in leaf..um..leaf.. - whatever comes after leaf-foool!" she asks curiously.

Well. It was...unextrordinary. It wasn't what he was expecting. But he'd take it over the stuffy nursery. Paws that were far too big, stomped the dirt floor, little dust clouds puffing from beneath the paws.

It was cold. he disliked this. Awful, actually. Maybe he will go back into the nursery. Even if it smells funny.

Skykit was bored. Boredboredbored. There was nothing to do when you're a kit! Everything is soooooo boring. She really wanted to go explore, but mama wouldn't allow it. So, she just had to stay and act good. She should probably start making friends so she isn't alone when she's an apprentice. Skykit wouldn't be alone, she would have her siblings. But her siblings were soooooooooooooooooooooooooo annoying! Her eyes scanned across the clearing looking for another kit to talk to. Her eyes rested on this one kit. She went up to them and started speaking. "Hiiii!!!!! I'm skykit. Who are you? Wanna be friends?" @Dolomedes

Patchkit had been watching the clearing. It was one of their usual past times, finding the idea of interaction curious in a way that a kit may watch a bug that they have scramble beneath their paws. Not in a bad, God complex way, but like, eager curiosity for something they didn't quite understand besides the fact that the bugs and themselves are very different. That was what they were doing until the sound of thumping paws sounded from the nursery and he turned their head in time to see one of the newer kittens hop right in front of him. He didn't remember the name of this one, but if Patchkit wasn't mistaken they were one of the forever queen's Leopardsong. Why was she away from the nursery? Boredom very likely.

Skykit. That was a nice name. Skytumble, Skybug, Skysong ( after her mother perhaps ), Skyfang ( after her father ). It was a very good name. A pretty one. He didn't have any qualms with their own name exactly, but patch was a harsher sound that didn't quite sound right with many suffixes. Though wondering about that would be useless when Patchkit was so far away from being a warrior. Present, not future, is what needs to be thought of. Blinking their hazy green eyes, Patchkit looked to Skykit. Enthusiastic, and kind, and playful were his observations. Those types of cats usually like it when someone matches their energy. He flicked his tail, and found himself falling into character, hopping to his paws with a smile stretching across his face.

"Hi Skykit! I'm Patchkit, and sure, we can be friends."

"Yay!" Skykit squealed. She was happy! She didn't have a lot of friends yet, so this was a win. "I like your name!" She looked at the other kits fur. "Woah! You're so pretty!" She told patchkit. A huge silly grin released on skykits face. I like this cat She thought. "Do ya wanna play?" @Dolomedes
