Creepingpaw emerged lazily from the apprentice den, shaking his unkempt and messy fur as he yawned and stretched grandiosely before raising a brow at the unusually tense commotion stirring at Stormcrest. Furrowing his brows in heightened concern, the lean apprentice darted quickly as his white paws treaded the earth with certain silence. As Creepingpaw approached the gathering, his head slightly tilted at the sight of Springlight. Interesting. Hadn’t she gone missing around the time Creepingpaw joined ThunderClan?

The striped and spotted tabby’s ears perked at the familiar sight of Firepaw, the apprentice from the tree climbing lesson that he made a not so great first impression with, with her red ears pinned back and a look of anticipated excitement strewn over her maw. Curiously, Creepingpaw crept up next to her but made sure to hiss as to not spook her, “Psst.. Firepaw, what’s going on?” Creepingpaw questioned in a hushed tone as he leaned his muzzle closer to hers, his green eyes wide as he gazed curiously at Firepaw.

Firepaw flicnhed slightly at Creepingpaw's arrival. How had she not noticed him? She wasn't that distracted, was she? Relaxing after realising that it is, in fact Creepingpaw, she leaned closer and spoke, her voice barely above a whisper as if she was telling a sort of secret.

"I... Don't know. Springlight went missing around the time I did... I'm pretty sure everyone believed she was dead."

Larkswoop frowned. That had been Hawkkit´s voice, but her son´s lips hadn´t moved...

...which brought the queen´s attention to Starlingkit, the only kit in her litter who could mock voices the same way Larkswoop was able to herself.

Creepingpaw nodded along as Firepaw spoke, his black ears twitching at the mention of Firepaw going missing as well. Interesting. He wondered what made her leave then return, but figured now wouldn’t be a good time to ask since the bustling of the gathering horde of cats seemed to slowly be settling down as Bumblestar was about to speak. Creepingpaw smirked playfully, bumping his shoulder against Firepaw’s lightly in a jovial gesture, “Yeah? I bet you went missing cuz you got stuck in a tree from being a not-as-good climber as me~” the silvery apprentice purred teasingly with a toothy grinned, purposefully not mentioning the fact that Firepaw had beat him in a climbing race.

There was quite frankly a lot going on. Vi flattened her ears and ignored the screeching kits in favor of settling on a too-familiar face. Was that Springlight? But, wasn't she... dead? Was she pregnant? She looked up at a furious Bumblestar and deduced that Springlight's appearance had something to do with this. Vi herself was a bit confused, though; weren't the two pretty close? Shouldn't Bumble be relieved to have Springlight back? What had happened?

Risingstorm was so confused how, what, huh?? Many thoughts in his head we’re racing mostly over springlight as a slight anxiety sent in the tom wrapped his long tail around his paws keeping his tail tight as a comfort method, watching as the clan started to gather and hearing a kit scream caused rising to look towards the nursery his green eyes wide “hellspawn” he thought looking back towards the medicine cat. Risingstorm was just staring unsure how to feel, but he knew bumblestar wasnt happy no she looked Angry probably more then just angry. The hornet let out a sigh as a voice caught his attention flicking his ears towards the voice following his head he noticed milkbee asking about what was going on, the hornet shrugged “ I dont know. he meowed “ I dont think its gonna be good tho “ he told looking at milkbee’

Redhawk - ThunderClan Hornet

...Okay, things were getting worse. The nausea that had started small hadn't gone away yet as the hornet - if she could even be called that anymore - made her way from the warrior's den and into the clearing at the sound of Bumblestar's voice. Hunger ripped through her stomach and Redhawk did her best to curl into herself to muffle the sound, yellow-green eyes glancing up and looking around to make sure no one heard. It seemed that everyone was focused on something else though and - why were two kits screaming?? - looking to the front, the hornet saw why.

Springlight.

She was... alive?

Taking a seat near the back of the crowd the hornet's shoulder sagged but she managed to keep her gaze up at the front. Part of her wondered if she should look around for Brindlepaw. Did... did he know of Elkpaw's death yet? What about Swanpaw? Another tear slipped from her eye and she quickly batted it away with one paw.

Milkbee hummed in response, her expression stricken by worry.

"I don't believe so, either." She kept her paws tucked under her fluffy fur, shuffling them constantly. This was... A very unfamiliar kind of meeting. She wasn't sure what to expect. And by the looks of it, Risingstorm himself was also quite anxious.

Streampaw tilts her head in a curious fashion as she pads up to the meeting, there is more commotion than there usually is. Well, probably, it's not like she would know... Then as she comes into view, her paws freeze mid-step, Springlight? Didn't she, uh, die a while ago? Well that explains the confusion and exclamations of her clanmates. She sits down hesitantly, her brow furrowed as she awaits her leader's words.

Uh oh, Boss looked mad. Nightgaze glanced up at her leader, questioning what had caused her leader's rage this time. Plopping herself down, tail flicking casually, she awaited the announcements to start when- 'Is that..?' Shock flashed in riveting green hues as she caught a glimpse of a cat she'd long thought to be dead: Springlight.

"No way..." The small hornet mumbled, disbelieving of the sight in front of her. The former medicine cat no doubt, albeit scarred...and something else. Slowly breaking her attention away from the returned, Nightgaze searched the crowd for her clanmates expressions. She wasn't just imagining it right? The looks on their faces seemed to mimic her flabbergasted expression. But...the owl took her! How- how did she survive...what?
