After a moon of staying in the nursery constantly, Stormkit finally got bored of waiting around and made a dash for the den entrance. Surprised by just how easily he got out of there, no one tried to stop him, Stormkit then started to wonder…was he allowed to leave the whole time? All this time he'd been eagerly awaiting the day he could explore outside of the nursery, but now he realised that he could’ve just left at any point and nobody would’ve tried to stop him. Huh, that wasn’t expected. Wonder filled his eyes as he looked around the clearing, he'd never seen anything like this before! It was beautiful! Stormkit slowly made his way around the clearing, examining every mouse-length of it.
Oh mouse dung. Now he'd wandered so far from the nursery, he'd no idea how to get back! The wonder in his eyes rapidly gave way to worry as he was lost! He really should’ve taken note of what the nursery looked like on the outside before wandering away! What if he never found it again?!

Jasminekit didn’t often wander from her littermates’ sides, but today was a bit of an exception. The kits were older now, and she liked taking a walk around the clearing to stretch. The cold, brisk air filled her lungs and energized her. She was purring, until her dark amber eyes rested on another kit. Stormkit she thought his name was? She tilted her head. There was something…lost-looking about him. Not able to turn away from a denmate in distress, Jasminekit bounded over to Stormkit, fluffing out her fur against the cold. “What wrong?” She asked, tilting her head to the side and gazing at him with wide, concerned eyes.

Vinepaw has been sitting in the clearing thinking about his friends death when he spotted a little kit. One who was wandering around not out of the ordinary but the way this kit was walking around was unusual. He got to his paws and padded over he decided he would take a light hearted tone to it. “Hey,what’s goin on?”he asked his blue eye peering down.

It wasn't difficult to miss Cardinalmist in the clearing, but Thistlepaw always associated her memories with the elders to bickering and bile. Still, though, she couldn't help but feel a twinge of sympathy for the old she-cat as she struggled to sit up. It must be a helpless feeling. She thought, twitching her whiskers.
It would have been bad mannered to not do what she could. Even so, as she approached the elder, she maintained cool in her concern. "Hi Cardinalmist," the long-legged apprentice paused just in front of her senior Clanmate, "Do you want any help?" She glanced around warily in the hopes she'd spot Lightningstorm or Rabbitpaw, but to no avail.

After, her green eyes glossed over the entrance to Lightningstorm's den but she wasn't sure if the Medicine Cat was there... to do her due diligence, Thistlepaw gently attempted to guide the elder towards the rooted entrance. "Do you think you can make it inside?"
One thing was for sure, Thistlepaw wasn't keen on pestering Lightningstorm! The cool tortoiseshell and white healer was a little intimidating, especially when she was busy. But then, perhaps it was also the fact Thistlepaw wondered if any moment she might be called away for another task.

The medicine cat purred at Hawkfur's words, ignoring the now clean deputy's tantrum as he sulked and pouted at the mere thought of having to show his face with a clean coat of fur for once in his life. Come to think of it, Rabbitpaw was rather keen on being a dusty whirlwind of a feline as well. She might have to teach him that it's either the grooming way or the getting tossed into the pools by the falls way for gatherings soon if he didn't clean up his act himself. Gratefully, the apprentice was younger and would no doubt be easier to be made to understand that there was a certain level of... diplomacy that went into one's looks. Looking ragged and dirty was all well and good if one was a warrior, but if one was one of the cats that had inadvertently become the face of the clan? Well... that was different, innit? Besides, a medicine cat should always be clean. Disease and injury would only be made worse by a lack of grooming.
"My pleasure, love. Let me know if you need help with this again next moon. I'm sure I'll come up with an even more effective way of making sure this one doesn't look like an overfed mole for gatherings if keeping his fur decent proves to be a problem," Lightningstorm mewed, mischief twinkling in her eyes as she turned her glance towards Crowtooth, knowing full well that kitsitting the deputy until it was time for the gathering would be a full time job for the rest of the day. She would have to clean herself up as they were about to leave. Stars alive, what a bother.

The cinnamon furred she's paws padded onto the ground entering the camp with a small mouse in her mouth, the she had a scar along her chest that was old, she pranced around to search for an elder or queen to give this mouse to. She always made sure to follow the warrior code so she could be a great warrior like her parents.

Otterfur padded out the warrior's den and stretched a bit as she stepped into the clearing, her long fur bristled against the cold air and she sighed. she sat down and began to clean her fur, licking her paw and chest and cleaning her ears and base of her tail. a good wash to her whole fluffy body. she got up and looked around and decided she would wait a bit for a patrol needed her...so she sat down and got in a loaf like sit to do just that.
