Silentpaw couldn't help but narrow his eyes. So Shrewstep was no match for Foggymask, after all. But then again, Foggymask's attacks have had much more intent in it than Shrewstep's. Interesting. Hm. So there was a chance the victor wouldn't even be made an Enforcer. Despite the whole battle seemingly having no meaning to him whatsoever, he still shot his mother a quick, amused glance. He could tell she must be fuming. Even for him, watching his father (Of course, though, he doesn't know that he's their father) beat the former Enforcer to a pulp was quite satisfying.

The patched tabby tom swirved and walked away, gaze focused on the ground beneath him. He would now go rest in the apprentices' den, and rest the rest he deserves.

Shadepaw watched the fight with cold interest, absorbing how each cat fought, and then-- it was over. Shrewstep lost. Her mentor. And how he lost was just downright humiliating. He was an enforcer. He should be more powerful than that, more willing to hold his position. But now he isn't. Disappointment and anger lingered in her. Her mentor was weak. She supposed it was for the better that Shrewstep wasn't an enforcer anymore-- she was almost worried for Dawnstar's sanity appointing a lunatic like him. But it wasn't better for her. Shrewstep's position was lowered, and thus was hers. Not to mention that he was now a disgrace. At least in her eyes-- and she was sure Clovepool's, too. And Clovepool's opinion was all that mattered. Burning amber eyes narrowing in disgust, she turned and slipped into the shadows, padding away without a word, or even an indication to her mentor.
She'd just have to find someone better. Maybe Foggymask would show her some of the moves he used...
