Drizzlecloud had gotten comfortable in the nursery–her pregnancy would soon come to a close, she had realized… Soon she was to have her kits. Thinking of that reminded her that Wolfhive wanted to help her out when it came to kitting, no matter how disgruntled the tom seemed when she had mentioned her pregnancy, she kept that conversation in mind.

So, here she was, laying just outside of the nursery, eyes shifting from cat to cat as they went about their day.. Until her eyes landed on Wolfhive. A trill sounded from her chest as she lifted her head, her left ear twitching. “Wolfhive! Hello, come sit with me, would you? Let’s chat!”

Time melted away like snow in water. Wolfhive wasn't sure how much had passed, in actuality, as he laid near the edge of the clearing. He was mostly just trying to play keepaway from cats to not spread the plague more than necessary, but it seemed Drizzlecloud had other plans.

Wolfhive squinted his eyes at her when she approached, wondering if the sickness had somehow infected her brain alone. What was she doing! "drizz... i dont... think.. you.. should.. get.. too.. close.." His body broke into a fit of coughing, but he'd turned away to not splatter anything onto her.
