Beaverpaw silently nodded. "We... have." He replied "And a good amount of us... aren't even ten moons old... there's been a lot."
A lot of change.
He hates change.
He's not sure when it started, but all he can remember is hating change now.
He doesn't remember ever enjoying it.
Beaverpaw takes note that they've gotten a good amount of moss to move to the nursery now.

Moss in mouth, he trailed behind Beaverpaw. "Mm-hmm," he agreed, unable to saw much with a moss filled maw. He nosed through the lichen, entering the nursery - wow. It was lovely in here! The floor was already plush with leaves, feathers and fur, but luckily, they'd be able to make it even softer! After placing his bundle down, he spread it around. "I hope this one lasts longer. This home, I mean." It was mostly a selfish wish, but as he glanced across the nursery of little faces, he really hoped they wouldn't have to face the same tumultuous upbringing as them. That this would be their home, forever more.
Beaverpaw liked the nursery. It was definitely much better than what the kits had to deal with in the mountains.
Beaverpaw set the moss down, in the formation of as many nests as he could with what he had. "I hope so too." Beaverpaw said in response to Seapaw.
As long as nothing... crazy happens, they should be okay.
The two warriors followed the creek downriver until they reached a copse of beech trees that stood next to a wider bend in the creek.
"This spot looks like there's a decent chance of finding some good fish," Goldenwing suggested, crouching a bit to get a look at the water under the reflective glare dappling the water. She carefully dipped a paw in, fur prickling around her haunches at the chill, holding herself still as not to disturb any fish that may pass by- not until she could strike.

Foxleap made sure to sweep their surroundings with his perceptive honey colored gaze, shaking his long fur in the welcoming rays of the sunlight that warmed the clearing they had reached. Padding closer to the edge of the bend in the creek that had a decent dip in the bank to be able to reach the water. The stalwart tom sat back on his haunches for a moment as he curiously watched Goldenwing dip her paw in, internally noting that she did a wonderful job in balancing the weight on her paws and keeping her form steady for a passing fish. Beaming with a friendly grin and keeping silent, Foxleap quickly bounded upstream. Not too far from Goldenwing, but just enough as to not affect her hunting in any way.
The tom had other methods for fishing. Raising his back legs and bendind in a downward crouch as he tensed his rippling muscles, the rugged tom paused and kept his almond eyes locked onto the river's bustling surface. Whiskers twitching, Foxleap suddenly leapt into the water and disappeared under the surface for less than a minute before his coppery broad head popped up along with a decently sized fish clamed own firmly in his powerful jaws. The long haired Abyssinian began paddling back towards the edge of the river, his large brown dipped paws wading through the current.
