Darkleaf they/she - 59 moons
They hated to disappoint, but the tale left much to be desired. "No one knows," they shrugged, "maybe the sun hit it wrong, or perhaps it was some kind of twoleg activity." She sighed, as they padded along. Their next stop would be the Darkwater Mire. The ground became softer as they approached, soon turning wet like mud. They stopped by the edge of the bog, gazing out. "This is the Darkwater Mire," they proclaimed. "Here you'll mostly find frogs, and the occasional snake." Snakes weren't often a problem for grown cats, but having a young apprentice around here did make her worry. "As long as you're with a warrior, snakes aren't much to worry about. Just keep your wits about you. C'mon, let's get out of here." They turned.

The tom nods following his mentor as she turns "You know I hope I am a good hunter." he mews to her, his eyes looking at the ground. " I mostly slept when I was kit age I never really played like the other kits, I hope Im not too stiff when hunting." he sighed, in truth most of his kithood he didn't play with anyone, no one talked to him for longer than a few seconds. "Where to next!" he smiles

They listened as the apprentice relayed their worries - "Well, hunting's not all about speed and excitement. If you're good at staying calm, I'm sure you'll make a fine hunter. Some cats... Get too giddy, and scare their prey off," she laughed a little as she said that part.
"We're off to the borders now," she began, "The Saltmeadow Marsh - another boggy area." As they approached, they took in the sight of the giant marsh, "this is our border with RiverClan." soon enough, a pungent scent reached her nose, making her wince. "That's their smell on the wind."

he pads up to the Saltmedow Marsh. sniffing the water before the air. it takes him a moment to smell the scent she's referring to before scrunching his nows up "They smell weird." he mews. " So this is where those warriors on border patrol go!" he mews remembering when he last heard of a border while in the clearing. The tom is pretty happy to learn, he can't wait to learn more.

"They're a weird clan I suppose - swimmers. They eat fish, too. Though, apart from that, they're not too different to you and me." She commented briefly, "mm-hm, this is where the border patrols go!" She'd always enjoyed a border patrol - a nice chance to gaze at the territory and chat with her clanmates. "Right - let's head to the next!"
The Whispering Wetlands... Their border with WindClan. Wilted willow trees soon started to pop up as they padded along, till the huge wetlands sprawled out before them. She didn't really like it here. It had this unnerving energy that they just couldn't shake. "This is WindClan's border. They're the fastest of the clans, I suppose. They have lotsa sprawling hills, and flat meadows. Not too wet, like the border."
"They're a weird clan I suppose - swimmers. They eat fish, too. Though, apart from that, they're not too different to you and me." She commented briefly, "mm-hm, this is where the border patrols go!" "So river clan cats can swim like fishes.. and wind clan is very fast?" he mews before looking around the area to see how this area is different from the rest of the territory "Wow territory is bigger than I thought when I was small..." he spoke almost surprised by this fact. It's so vast, "So that's why there are multiple groups of cats when it comes to patrols! That's really cool!" he giggled.

The ground became dry - desolate, and they came to the died up swamp - and its huge gorge. "Watch your step there's a big drop ahead of us. This is the ThunderClan border. ThunderClan are... Quite like us. But less stealthy, I suppose. They're definitely strong, but some think they're friendlier." Maybe they really were. She wouldn't be shocked. Other than that, the clan didn't have much interesting about it, in their opinion.

"Ok let's head back!" the tom mews energetically, quite happy to learn, he's not sure if he could talk to apps as friendly, I mean why should he? no one really wanted to talk to him when he was a kit. he sighed shaking his head . He wants friends but struggles to make them.

Darkleaf awoke, and headed to the Apprentice's Den. It wasn't too early, the sun was gradually beginning to come out. They entered the den, quietly attempting to wake Lightningpaw "pssst ! Morning ! Training time!" It'd been a looooong time since they'd seen the apprentice den, it was weird seeing inside. Patiently, she waited outside the den, watching the sky above.
