Tawnyowl looked at the elder. "What? Come on, Cardinalmist. You gotta finish the story." she said with wide eyes. "Pleaseee!" she purred, she then answered Cardinalmist's question fast and simple. "It was okay, wish I could have brought more home! But pleaseee tell me the story!" Ever since she was a kit, she always enjoyed listening to the elder's stories. "What was his name, what was he like?"

The she smiled wryly as she sat up from her laying position, towering over the she by 3 cm. "Alright, dear but you should eat"The elder purred encouragingly towards the she " The warriors name was Blazestalk you know father of OspreyDart. My I wonder why his son acts so weird. Anyway when we Blazestalk and I were young warriors we used to sneak out by the gorge and he and I would exchange talking, but we knew that we would be in real trouble if we were seen together so him and I vowed that we would never speak to each other again in case of an emergency, but the last time I saw him was when he died to greencough. It was a sad day for me and Riverclan but at least his spirit lies in his son.". The she's eyes glimmered in thought as she finished her story.

Tawnyowl nodded at her elder, and turned her gaze on her catching. She tore a big piece off, while chewing she listened to Cardinalmist speak. Her eyes widen at each sentence. Swallowing her food, she finally spoke. "Ospreydart?" she asked with a tilt of her head. "They dont have any cats in Shadowclan by the name of that or Windclan" she said.

The she looked confused " I never said I was his mother. No his mother died during his kitting." The she hinted.

Tawnyowl was confused her self, she went quite for a minute. Finally, the dots all connected. "Oh!" she meowed, turning her gaze to Cardinalmist. "I'm sorry, I assumed. May I ask....did you have kits?"
