risingstorm stood moving his leg into a comfortable position slightly off the ground as he looked at wolfhive. rising didn't think he got hurt my the fix maybe a cut here and there but nothing to serious, nut he would go anyways, then his head perked up ... wolfhive's words rang through him like a bell I'm making you both Hornets, effective immediately. what a hornet was this a dream? he thought shaking his head like a wet dog Wait it want a dream this was truly happening wasn't it ? he had reached his goal being a hornet he swallowed " A-Aliright " the warrior the hornet meowed shaking slightly nodding his head " will do. a proud smile grew on his face rising was proud of himself.

Brackenclaw- He/Him, 25 moons old, Thunderclan Hornet. Purrks: Just a Scratch.

Brackenclaw would be a bit stunned for a second. Brackenclaw had never done anything with the idea of being acknowledged by others. Not even Wolfhive or any of the other Hornets. Brackenclaw simply did everything he did cause Thunderclan needed it. Still Brackenclaw respected Wolfhive too much to say as much instead he would simply bow his head in respect and meow. "Thank you Wolfhive I will do everything I can to live up to your expectations." Brackenclaw meowed his dark and deep voice always made Brackenclaw sound more menacing than he intended. But Brackenclaw had always shown that those who were around him had no reason to fear him unless they were his enemies. Brackenclaw didn't smile but that was okay the pride shining in his orange eyes likely allowed the other two cats to tell he was feeling just as proud to be named a Hornet as Risingstorm was. For a split second Brackenclaw felt his thoughts going towards his only friend Orangeblossom. Although the talkative cat was the farthest thing from Brackenclaw Orangeblossom didn't seem to mind Brackenclaw's looks, sound, or his lack of chattiness. Still Brackenclaw couldn't help but wonder. 'I wonder how Orangeblossom will take this when he learns about me becoming a Hornet.' Brackenclaw thought to himself. @BEAR. @Spider.

"Of that I have no doubt." Wolfhive beckoned them to join him as he started to head back to camp. "Get checked out, then both of you can meet me in Bumba's den. We'll do a rundown of duties and expectations. I'll also be informing her you both have officially been promoted so the Clan will know by the next meeting."

Wolfpaw shot a glare to Pinepaw. He knew the older cat was just trying to make him feel better, but honestly? It didn't help. "I'm perfectly capable of defending myself, thank you very much," he growled. No, he was not capable of defending himself. Now that everyone was there, he set out, hopefully with the two older cats in tow.

The brown tripod hobbled through the territory, fur bristled. Sure, the predators were gone, but he still didn't like it. What if they came back? Soon, they were close to haggard ruins. Something felt... familiar. Green hues scanned the area and-

oh no.

He spotted a fallen tree, not that big in size, but big enough to crush a cat. It seemed like it was moved, and it was. He knew that. His lips curled into a snarl. That. Starsdamned. Tree! That was the same tree that crushed his leg! The memories of the pain came flowing back to him, as well as the feeling of his crushed leg. Well, not really 'feeling' per-se, as he couldn't feel it once Wolfhive and Sproutfleck got him out from under the tree.

"Let's get a move on, I don't want to be here," he snarled, quickly hobbling away. He cast one final glance to the fallen tree before moving to where it was out of sight. Soon, they reached the ruins. A sinkhole. He remembered mama telling him about how they used to live in an old camp before it became a sinkhole. Wolfpaw shuddered at the sight. "Let's grab the herbs and go. Wild garlic can be found on the forest floor, n hey got a sharp n tangy scent, and grow in patches, n have dark green leaves," he said, quickly briefing the patrol on their assigned herb. "If you find somethin else, call me over n i'll see if we could use it for somethin," he added before starting his search.

So far, there was no luck on finding Wild Garlic. The tripod medic searched high and low, but there was none to be found. "Starsdamnit," he muttered, kicking a rock with his paws. Right as he was about to move on, he spotted some dark green leaves in the corner of his eye, accompanied by the tangy scent. Bingo! The tom hobbled over, grabbing a few.

As the tom hobbled back over to his patrolmates, he spotted something. Catmint!! Wolfpaw headed over, a grin on his maw. With the cold season approaching, it could be useful. To wolfpaw's horror, it was no good. The leaves had been crushed by something. "Come on!" he hissed through a mouthful of herbs. This was just unlucky.

The brown tom hobbled back to his patrolmates, dropping his findings so he can speak clearly. "Found some wild garlic, and some catmint but it was crushed," he told them, waiting for them to show their collection.
