Snappaw padded into the WindClan medicine cat den, mostly to try to find out which herbs did what.

Rabbitpaw was cleaning off his paws in the stream that ran through the den, having just fixed up some of the tunnels that the medicine den was in and also fixing up the trenches that were crudely made after the fires. His ear flicked as he heard the sound of someone entering the den, he turned, half expecting to see his dad, but was surprised to see an apprentice that he didn’t quite recognize. “Oh, hello.” Oh man, where was Miss Lightningstorm!

“What brings you to the medicine den?” Rabbitpaw hoped whatever it was was small because he didn’t actually have that much training yet and he would rather try his paw at practical learning with Miss lightningstorm there to make sure the injured feline was safe and that Rabbitpaw didn’t risk worsening the injury. So hopefully this wasn't anything crazy. Rabbitpaw flicked an ear as he waited for the apprentice to respond.

"Oh!" Snappaw meowed, startled. "I wanted to see how herbs worked?" Snappaw fidgeted nervously with her paws.

oh. Oh. Rabbitpaw blinked for a moment before giving an a small shake of his head, “Miss Lightningstorm doesn’t like people she doesn’t trust around the herb stores. Sorry about that, but maybe you could ask her for a brief lesson later. I would love to help but I’m still learning myself.” He wouldn’t want to spread misinformation after all, that would be horrible and would end up hurting the whole clan. He did feel bad but not too much, it was just how things were and he thought the privacy of the herb stores was well known throughout the clan.

Rabbitpaw faltered for a moment, they must’ve been seen by Miss Lightningstorm. Perhaps during one of Rabbitpaw’s breaks, or when he was visiting with his dad or friends. He slowly tilted his head, looking away for a moment before returning his green eyed gaze to the apprentice in front of him. “I don’t remember seeing a Twistpaw, Miss Lightningstorm must’ve seen to them while I was out of the den. Sorry.” Besides Rabbitpaw didn’t have much training with permanent injury check ups, unless you count his dad’s.

"I'll ask Twistpaw then," Snappaw meowed. He turned to leave the medicine den before pausing and glancing at Rabbitpaw. "Love you, bye!" He meowed before immediately noticing his mistake and turning red. ((i said that to my friends mom on accident ))

Rabbitpaw nodded, getting the information from Twistpaw themselves would be best, it did make Rabbitpaw wonder why Snappaw didn’t ask Twistpaw first but who knows, things have been a little bit crazy these past few days as the clan calmed from the fires. Though it was his second phrase that had Rabbitpaw tilting his head, “Oh, umm, I’m happy to help. Bye bye.” Strange, but that was probably only on reflex or meant platonically.
