YESYESYESYES! He was getting put on a patrol with his crush! With Wolfpaw!!! But then he saw Wolfpaw look like he'd just seen a ghost- knowing the way the world worked, he might have- as he mentioned Haggard Ruins. Oh. That's where he was trapped and lost his leg.
"Don't worry, I'll watch out for you! If I see a tree falling, I'll yell to get out of the way." he said, bumping the medicine cat's shoulder affectionately. "Ready when you are, Captain!" he said, raising his paw to his forehead in a playful salute.
Hmm? Oh, patrols! Nightgaze listened eagerly as Wolfpaw called out herb patrols and gave a grin of happiness when she was assigned to one. She'd been itching to go patrolling, how lucky she was to be picked! Admittedly herb gathering wasn't the most fun thing but it was important, so she would complete it! Padding over to the undercrag, she looked around for the rest of her patrol. Hope they wouldn't be late!
Risingstorm heard his name called and limped over a patrol fun he guessed " alright kiddos ready to set out when y'all are" he meowed suddenly becoming southern haggard ruins wasn't the worse place not the safest and such but rising storm just shrugged it off.

Acornfall perked up his ears when he heard his name, leaping to his paws. He waved his tail to Mothflame with a wide smile as she gathered her patrol. As he waited for Cloudedpaw and Carrioncaller, he saw Cloudedpaw almost collapse. The brown tabby leapt to his paws and rushed forward. “Hey! Kid!” The warrior bent down and touched his nose to the apprentice’s shoulder. “You okay?”
Acornfall turned to Wolfpaw, his eyes urgent. “Wolfpaw, Cloudedpaw is not fit to go on this patrol.” He meowed, angling his head towards the apprentice.

I'm fine! Cloudedpaw snapped, getting to his paws. Where's Carrioncaller? He asked, looking around impatiently. Lets go. He glared at Wolfpaw.
(sry Cloudpaw is in a mood)

He'd told the herb cat that he was there to be called upon whenever needed as long as The Boulder was sick. And Sprucejumper meant his word. He didn't speak in vain, after all. That was a complete waste of time and energy, and he was above such lavish, unnecessary things. That said... he did not expect the three legged apprentice to actually heed his offer. Most cats ignored anything he had to tell them, probably due to the fact that they couldn't understand his intent whenever he did deem it fit to speak. Who knew this Puppy would actually be among the few to take him seriously?
Or perhaps it wasn't that he'd actually been taken in earnest at all. It could always be a simple coincidence. Herb cat needed herb, saw him and called him to join the patrol. In all honesty, that seemed like the more likely scenario. Whatever. It didn't really matter why he was called. Just that he was.
Easy paws treaded the worn ground beneath him as Sprucejumper joined up with Puppy and... hm. He'd seen this one before, hadn't he? Ah. Yes. Back when he had been given Snotzilla to train. The sentry that had guarded over her when she had been an emotional mess. Gratefully, she was doing better of late... whenever he did see her. Come to think of it, he hadn't spent any time with his apprentice in a few days. Had she been avoiding him? That last hunting session did end somewhat embarrassingly for her, he supposed.
Well... that was something for when he returned. No use brooding over it now. Instead, the young warrior allowed his blank gaze to land on his apprentice's - assumed - friend, giving a nod in greeting. Truth be told, he had no idea who this Snakefang was. He didn't really know who most of his clanmates were. The curse of interacting with as few felines as possible, he supposed. Complaining about it would solve nothing, however, and so he settled for sitting down, deadpanned hues sweeping the clearing as he looked about for any cat that seemed to be looking for them.

68 moons || he/him || ThunderClan Warrior || Just a Scratch bulky, thick furred mink point w/ feathered tail; blue eyes
His name having been called, Carrioncaller approaches his patrol with a dip of his head - an apology for his tardiness.
"Hopefully tansy shouldn't be too difficult to find," he muses before glancing at Cloudedpaw. The apprentice seemed to be exhausted... hopefully he wasn't sick. "Let's go. If you need to take it easy, then do that," he says, before heading the patrol with a flick of his tail.
