The silver she-cat with a gentle frame and long flowing tail followed behind her clanmates on their journey towards the Seastone. Another Gathering so soon...it felt like just yesterday they've just returned. Yet an entire moon had already past. They've done so so much the last moon under Stormstar's command and the chaotic season had finally past, leaving a new reign of peaceful days.
She'd made her way towards the Seastone and sat much closer to the inner ring this time around. Her dim blue eyes scanned the sea of cats and it seems ShadowClan had arrived already, though she could smell that from a mile away.

The pale calico kitten hopped and hummed along the way towards the Seastone, wobbling behind his clanmates as he stared around in awe. It was his second time here but the sand and sea were still new and worthy for exploration in his eyes. Everything was wonderful and beaches of RiverClan was so extremely cool. A little part of him wants to run of into the other clans territory and dip his paws in the endless sea.
The little kitten paced around the Seastone, awaiting for WindClan to arrive. He'd brought something for Lichenpaw...or whatever she'll be called now. Palepaw was more than curious to know her warrior name and hopefully he'll be able to give her this pretty pebble he'd found during a scavenger hunt.
Leading her Clan through the familiar territory and towards Lionsbeach, Stormstar felt more ready than she thought she would. Any nerves or anxiety had died away in the face of finally, finally getting to sit among the leaders. Cats she had looked up to at Seastones since her arrival on RiverClan's beaches all those moons ago. A place where... where Lionshad once sat. The giddiness that bubbled inside of her was hard to snuff out - and she didn't really want to. A smile tugged at her maw as she came to a half just before the gathering place, lifting her tail for those behind her to stop as well.
"I want every cat in good behavior tonight," the leader called over her shoulder, though kept her voice reasonably low so that only they could hear her. "If the other Clans try 'n taunt or tease or poke you, don't give 'em the satisfaction of a reaction. They don't deserve one." Stormstar gave a nod, blue gaze sweeping across her Clan before she looked forward once more and headed into the Gathering.
Padding swiftly across towards the rocks, she made sure to gesture with her tail for Owls to follow. "You'll sit on the rocks below all the leaders - proud to have you up there with me," she grinned, nodding towards her deputy. With a nudge of her shoulder the leader continued the rest of the way across the sand and leapt up onto the deputy stones with ease, then lifted herself to the stone on which her brother had sat upon. Dawnstar was already there, and she gave the leader a curt nod. "Dawnstar," she greeted, her tone nothing more than simple and even. She'd be civil, of course, because that's what a leader did. Her blue eyes held nothing but neutrality as they lingered a bit before drifting out over the gathered cats.

A moon passed already? Owltalon nearly couldn't believe it. Multicoloured paws thudded against the ground as she trotted at Stormstar side, her tail low to the sandy ground. Was it normal to be nervous? Yes, yes it was. The weight of plenty judgemental eyes would be on her this evening, ha! But she'd delt with a few hard stares before, this wouldn't be any different. But the deputy title? Yeah, that was loads different. The nerves that bounced around in her stomach were worse than what came after eating a bad fish.
Once Stormstar addressed her, fluff filled ears swerved towards her, Owltalon's eyes brightening a smidge before her gaze trailed up to Dawnstar. She gave the scarred leader a short look before her gaze fell back to her leader who was trailing up the rocks of Seastones. The deputy stared for a moment before she realized she'd have to join her.
At Stormstar's comment, she smiled toothily. "Thanks, chief." She followed up the rocks with little to no struggle, long pale claws digging into rock. Once she'd finally hauled herself up the stones, she gave the Shadowclan highranks another look, her good amber eye twinkling with some sort of amusement but certainly pride. She was more than ecstatic to be here.
Owltalon herself had nothing of meaning to say to Shadowclan, so she merely nodded at them. After that, she turned her head back to the cats below her, watching for anything mildly suspicious before the announcements started. Then Thunderclan arrived.
The deputy looked upwards, her gaze settling on Bumblestar. Ha, interesting choice, hm? They've certainly had a lot of those, but Owltalon didn't think she was one. She simply flicked an ear at the Thunderclan leader, the tip of her maw twitching slightly.
Okay! It's—yeah, it's another one of these. Hopefully this time he isn't too dazzled by everything to be a proper little conversational companion...he fears he didn't do well by the Thunderclan warrior from last time. Hopefully, hopefully. Mosquitopaw's heart skips in his chest as he files in with the rest of his clan. Just like before, he's excited. Can't wait. These Gathering things really are so cool, even if he can hardly hear the other cats around the sound of blood rushing in his ears.
You can do it. You did it before and you'll do it even better now. It looks like Riverclan are all that's present besides them. He can recall trying to avoid taking to any of them last time since...well, last time they all sort of looked like they'd just been through a war, which, uhm. Yeah. But he feels bad wondering if he should try and avoid them a second time around. Tensions aside, Mosquitopaw has so many questions. He always does.
He...hesitates, anyway. Maybe it'd be for the best to just wait for the other clans to arrive—or to stick with Shadowclanners this time around. Shadowclanners are pretty darn cool, if he says so himself. Options, options, options. He gets a list going and wastes even more time by wondering how to order it. Importance? Doability? Excitement? Yet more to think about instead of making a decision.
rookfire followed dawnstar at a brisk pace, barely containing the unusual spring in his step (focus on barely, he had a image to uphold), whilst he had decided to stop giving cats beneath him his time, that did not mean he couldnt be thrilled about his promotion and actively disproving goldfishs yapping once more. it was truly ridiculous to think about, the amount of time he had spent sitting around in riverclan, only to be promoted to serve alongside shadowclans elite after not even two moons and then being promoted once more after another four or so.
whatever, as they travelled through the territory, rookfire couldnt help but feel like they had just come home from the last gathering, time flying like crazy in the midst of everything happening. yellowtwists n lostsparks death, new regulations, his last dream visit with marigoldpaw, the frogs and rats and snakes..it was like this past month had been one big pile of trouble and whilst rookfire was ready and happy to face it head on, fearless and ever confident, the feeling it gave him right now was still odd.
the sea stones had long since come into view when the faint familiar scent of riverclan carried over, determined, rookfire refused to look at the other clan whilst shadowclan filled into the clearing and he continued on by mistlewhiskers side, before returning the deputies nod and slowing down to bump shoulders with mossfreckle. despite his promotion, rookfire couldnt help but admit to himself that the previously contained curiosity about their leader and deputy had resurfaced with the only difference being that he felt like he was allowed to get on their nerves now..and boy he had been making use of it and would probably continue to do so. they were cats worth looking up to, and rookfire had no problem being snapped at once in a while if that meant his new position allowed for some snooping and extra activity around the clan.
by the time rookfire leapt up to the ledge reserved for medicine cats, a lot of riverclan had filtered in and he allowed himself to finally take a look. back straight and striped tail curled over his paws, the medic remained neutral, watching the crowd of pelts from above, half-heartedly seeking out familiar pelts, a part of his mind couldnt help but whisper of fate. this was where he was supposed to be, not in the crowd..
berryshine wasnt a surprising sight to see, but the cat by her side almost made him want to punch one of them, preferably cobwebpaw. stars above why her. briefly, he felt distorted sense of pity for riverclan, a lick of confusion of why,, but he wasnt stupid, the older could be a awful charmer if they wanted something, so no real surprises here.. really, it was mostly disappointing, even from a distance. to see a cat so unfit for clan life as a whole promoted to a position so above them..a shame, but it fit riverclans overall theme didnt it?
though his outwards demeanour had changed from neutral to a bit more unapproachable looking, tail flicking back and forth where it lay atop white tipped paws, rookfire busied himself by eyeing the crowd and looking for cats he recognised whilst remaining alert to the other high ranks.
whilst his time was filled by mostly silence, listening to the others and a invisible tension at the presence of riverclans "meds", rookfire resisted the urge to turn around to look at riverclans new deputy. or at least what he presumed to be their deputy. fadingstar was gone and this cat had made their way over to the sea stones alongside dusklion so either they did a very odd switch and dusklion was still deputy for whatever reason, or this was their new deputy and he hadnt looked at them for nearly long enough, too busy cursing cobwebpaw to the moon and back.
before the medic could really get into his head about the new deputy and not knowing anything about them, more cats appeared at the edge of his vision, mildly surprising honestly. he hadnt expected three of four clans to show up pretty much at the same time but well enough, at least they wouldnt be spending the majority time waiting for anyone this way. most of the attention appeared to be drawn to riverclans new deputy which rookfire wouldnt complain about because he didnt care what bumblestar had to say but he was still excited for when it came to acknowledging his presence amongst the high ranks. perhaps it was shadowclan that had turned him into a cat that basked in attention rather than shying away from it, perhaps it was the simple fact that he had left irrational fear behind as he did riverclan (as much as possible at least).
now it was only windclan missing, though even just thunderclans medicine cat showing up would be interesting since he hadnt really given them any thought last time, this would be a new experience entirely and rookfire was looking forward to it.

Sunsetgleam followed their clan towards the Seastones, picking a seat somewhere in the middle of the crowd; not too close but also not too far back. A small smile was on their mouth, though their eyes was just slightly dull. They chose to hope no one notice. It's not that they're not happy, it's just that.. It's hard to be constantly cheerful, they weren't sure how their younger self could do it. They sighed before sitting down and looking around to see if anyone was willing to talk to them. If not they'll just sit there in silence and watch the meeting. Their vision's been a bit unfocused lately, they can guess why. The constant feeling of being watched and the nightmares that haunt them would let them have slightly less sleep than they used to have though at least no one's noticed yet

A..gathering. She wasn't sure if she wanted to join. She was wary and she didn't want to get close nay of the other clans. She knew no one should be trusted. But at the same time, she wanted to know what these thing are like. As soon as she arrived, her eyes darted towards to cats already there and the surrounding area. This was shadowclan if she remembered correctly. She glared at the massive, brown she-cat was already on the stones. A dozen of scars and seemingly strong enough to crush the apprentice to death. She stood there for a moment, trying to stand as straight and unfearing as possible while she pondered her next move. No. She was going nowhere near the other clans. She shouldn't risk it right now. She decided to sit somewhere at the edge of the crowd, not far from where she entered so she could exit quicker if anything were to happen

The warrior padded in, his head held high. RiverClan would probably have a damn well turnout themselves tonight. All their ranks filled up with good, decent cats. They seemed to have some order restored and in no time they would be good as new, but this time they’d be better then they were before.
