Mudhound
Thunderclan Hornet | They/them | 40 Moons
Bilingual T3 | Flock Together T3 | Rapid Recovery | Killer Aptitude T3
Huddled in their little sick bed, feeling too awful to do much of anything and drifting in and out of consciousness, Mudhound had heard enough in the end. The hornet wasnt really sobbing, but where their nose was buried in their paws, to weak to help out Bumblestar, tears rolled down their cheeks.
'So, Riddle Me How I Was Suposed To Stay Away From The Only Cat That Gives A Damn!'
'Its Not Like It'd Make A Difference. Can't Train Anyway.'
Had..... Had Mudhound really been that bad of a mentor to the apprentice? The tripod really had tried with Silverpaw! They'd taught him all the methods to survive and thrive as a tripod, they'd showed him he could function with a disability why did he seem to think he couldnt train? Maybe Mudhound hadnt put in as much effort, even if they'd tried their best! And they'd cared, they really cared about Silverpaw and not given any inclination otherwise! So why did the tom seem to think only Larkswoop did?
It hurt. In careless rambling to Bumblestar the hornet had hypothesized that Silverpaw had never really accepted Mudhound as his new mentor... They hadnt wanted it to be true in the end.
And now Silverpaw was gone, having turned so sour so fast and so twisted in a way Mudhound had never hoped for him, making threats against his own clan as he went. It was horrible.
Just upset in the end Mudhound nodded at their sister, making eye contact with Wolfhive in a silently communicated 'I dont think I could do it. This is on you.' before shuffling to face the wall. They just didnt wanna see anyone looking at them, the failed mentor of an exile.
@dino. @BEAR. (chara mentions) @Beaan (if wolfpaw wants to come and comfort)
