Larkswoop had been giving Owlkit a bath whenever she heard Raccoontail's voice. She stopped washing her daughter and turned grass-green hues on the tom. ''I'm doing well,'' The broad-shouldered tabby responded, her voice low as not to disturb her kits from nursing. ''Come to visit the kits?''
The queen nodded, touching her nose to the dark brown tabby tom. ''This is Hawkkit,'' She mewed before turning to the brown-and-off-white tabby pelt of one of her daughters. ''Owlkit.''
''Thrushkit-'' Larkswoop gestured to the dilute tortie. ''-and Starlingkit.'' Then to the regular tortoiseshell.
Thrushkit blinked up at Raccoontail and opened her mouth wide in a mew at the stranger. She had meant it to sound more…threatening than it did. Like a ‘back off’ type thing. She even showed her tiny kitten teeth to be fearsome. But coming from the tiny kit it was…more pitiful than she had hoped. All she could do now was scoot closer to her mother’s belly, letting out a tiny hiss with not much more success.

The she couldn’t help but chuckle a bit at the kit, though not in a rude or mocking way, simply light-hearted as she always was. Okay—how would she go about this? She was still a smaller than average cat, probably the size of a cat about 9 moon old cat—yes, cats probably mistook her as an apprentice, but she couldn’t help it! She has tiny little munchkin legs.
She watched as the kit prepared to toss the moss ball. “Ah, I may be quite rusty little one!” she warned softly, watching as it flew over to her. She ducked down and hit it up with the top of her head before it could hit the ground. Hmm…perhaps she was better than she had believed!

PumpkinKit watched as the ball he swatted at OrangeFlower flew her way and the she-cat put a halt to it with her noggin before sending it back PumpkinKit's way. The young tom gasped in a way that could only be described as sarcastic coming from anyone other than a kit.
While he wanted to tell his new friend how cool that move she just did was, he had to get the ball first. It was coming straight for him and he leapt to the side before lunging at it and tackling it to the ground, gnawing at the soft material with his teeth.
As the ball came to a stop with his weight, he stood up and puffed his chest out, put a paw on the moss as if he had caught something incredibly difficult.
"That was really cool! Where'd you learn that move? Is it from being a warrior?? Do they teach you that when you're an apprentice???"
The calico asked with bright eyes, sending the ball back towards the other cat.

Nightkit Stretched as she picked out some moss from her nest to play around with. Nightkit placed the mossball by the edge of the nursery as they went into what they thought was a hunting crouch before pouncing onto the moss ball.

ShrewPaw was bored outta their mind. She flopped on her back, spotting a 'nother kit. WOAH. that was a great ... training thingy! They got up and padded over cheerfully. "Hiya! I'm ShrewKit! Whad's yer' name?" She smiled, looking at NightKit. They swished their tail, green eyes sparkling in curiosity.

She smiled at the kit and his reaction “No, not quite. When training and all, ya don’t really learn fun stuff…unfortunately.” she sighed. Training was still fun…just a different kind of fun. She hoped to give HiddenLaw a good experience, and the rest of DawnPaws training as well.
“I was a playful kit, never grew out of that. Simply practice and playing with other kits!” she purred, proud of her own achievements. “I never grew much after a certain age, perhaps being small n’ flexible helps?”.
