Stempaw had to admit, he was less of a fan of this border. “Well thank StarClan for that.” He muttered at Newtbelly’s comment about the creek, not meaning it to sound as sarcastic as it did but doing nothing to correct it. He assisted with marking this border too before following his mentor back into their territory. Something he could definitely agree with him on! ShadowClan’s territory felt like that best to him. “What’s next?” Stempaw asked eagerly.

Once again, he raised an eyebrow at Stempaw's tone. Was the apprentice rude, or simply enthusiastic? He still couldn't tell. "Next's The Dawning Woods," he explained, padding on. Much to his relief, the ground began to soften up again as they approached the tall forest. The shelter of the trees was welcome, but it was one of the brighter areas in ShadowClan's territory, which caused it to lose a little of his favour. "Here we are - the woods are a great place for hunting. Speaking of," he turned to Stempaw, "would you like to try some now?"
