Dreamkit followed all the cats that were gathering. She looked up and saw Twilightstar. She stared at the WindClan leader with wide eyes. She wondered what it would be like to be leader.

bounding out of the nursery, egretkit makes a bee-line for the galewood. she briefly stops near the back of the crowd to glance behind her to see if crowkit or gracklekit (who..must be hiding somewhere), or maybe plummy, were following her. seeing that they weren't, she weaves through the crowd of her buddies until she pops out near the front of the crowd. ah yes, a perfect seat! she just needs someone to talk to now to make this seat even better.

The Fury poked his head out of the warrior's den, blinking to adjust to the light. Oh! A meeting. Hawkfur pulled himself out of the den, hind leg smarting under the bandages of cobwebs. The fire had eaten through his fur and scorched his right hind leg as her had been fighting the fire with his patrol in the Sky Glade, but it had been his fault for not paying closer attention to the blaze and how close it was getting to the others. Lightningstorm had done a wonderful job of healing it, even if he didn't think it was necessary. It was hardly the first scar he had gotten! But something about infection and "stop disobeying me or I'll tell Crowtooth to sit on you" had convinced the russet tom to stay put.

"Real warriors at least get singed fur!" A voice piped up in his head, and he chuckled. Well, at least he wasn't disappointing his dead wife. He hoped.

Luckily, though, he was given the all-clear to return to his duties as long as he made sure to keep the cobwebs on his haunches clean and not rip at them. The burn was itchy, so it was hard, but oh well.

Twilightstar had called for everyone, and the injured Fury wasn't about to miss a clan meeting. He spotted a small kit near the front of the crowd, and his spirits immediately lifted. Hobbling over to her, Hawkfur greeted Egretkit with a lick. "How are you doing today, Egretlove? Are your brothers around?" He hadn't seen them since the fire, but Leopardsong and Firestorm had assured everyone that the kits were safe.

Hollykit rushed out of the nursery. This is it, this is it, this is it. He thought to himself. He was practically bouncing towards the Galewood at this point. There's nothing else this could be, he was FINALLY being made an apprentice.

Daywhisper smiled as she watched her son rush out, it was nice seeing him happy, she didn't see that much anymore. She frowned for a moment before sighing softly. She glanced around the clearing for Fallenkit, this would likely be her apprentice ceremony too.

Fallenkit reluctantly followed her kin out of the nursery. Staying close enough to her mother's side, she held her head high.

Willowpaw looked in concern at the small scratch that Frostkit had left. “Have you told Lightningstorm or Rabbitpaw yet? They could get it patched up and ask Frostkit why she did it.” Willowpaw was also slightly worried about Frostkit now. If she was attacking unprovoked, she would be punished, or even become an evil cat! Willowpaw shook herself a little. Frostkit still had plenty of time to stop her naughtiness, there was no use worrying now.
