The new apprentices' den still didn't quite have that proper 'lived in' feel to it yet. Granted, Shallowpaw doesn't actually know what that would look like, he'd never lived in the old camp's apprentice den, having been just a kit when they were exiled to the mountains. Nothing he's known has ever been permanent, and there's very little belief he has that this, too, will be permanent.

He stretches, yawning wide, and settled in to groom his silver-black pelt.

Larkpaw blushed. She just noticed how pretty Daisypaw's smile was. Her personality was also great.

She she was lonely, and getting bored quick. Inexperienced, friendless, and unfamiliar with her surroundings. What a great mix. Her blue gaze spotted one of her many kin, her litter mate, her brother. She padded up to him, lifted her front paw, and bapped him on the head. “Hey there silly!” she purred, still using his head as her own personal footrest. “How’ya doin’?” she questioned the fellow apprentice.

It wasn’t often CrowPaw got time alone with just one of her family members. Any moment now, another one would probably come stomping along. She hated that. Sure, CrowPaw liked company, and she damn well liked her family—she just hated a large amount of cats, all trying to interact at once. It stressed her out, trying to divert her attention from conversation to conversation.
