"Dad!" Antpaw's grouchy face relaxes as he finally finds Hawkthorn in the clearing. It was Starclan's luck that he wasn't outside.
"Mom's finished birthing, but there's complications." Antpaw meows. He wasn't sure exactly how to break it to his father that two of the kits were now cold. Dead. It just didn't seem like something you'll say in full view of the clan.
"You have to come to the nursery. Quickly."

Putting on a warm and friendly smile Mothflame padded over, slowing when she got closer as to not startle the old chap.
"Hello, Lionwish." She greeted with a slight nod, a purr tinging her voice.

Hornetkit was tossing a ball of moss around, attempting to pounce on it. As it toppled away once more, she adopted a (pretty bad) hunter's crouch, staring at it over her nose. This time, she'd catch it - for reals.
Acornfall sat around the edges of the clearing, his gaze taking in his clanmates. Whiskers twitching thoughtfully. I wonder how Nightwhisper and the kits are doing… And he needed to start thinking about how he would start Chasmpaw’s training. Definitely a tour. His flicked his tail thoughtfully. So many things to consider, many things happening in ThunderClan. He needed to step up and do whatever he could for his clan.

Buzzkit doesn’t like napping in the nursery anymore. Too many kits stepping on his fur, too much moss getting stuck everywhere - he needs space to roll around! Thankfully, he sometimes manages to convince the more watchful queens to let him take naps just outside on this nice little piece of grass that gets all sunny at sunhigh. Something about keeping every kit accounted for… apparently, there are a lot of troublemakers, buuuut Buzzkit doesn’t really pay attention enough to remember those things.
Now, the kit is dozing in that spot, a short little ball of fur stretched out on his side. Staying in the nursery can get a little boring, but napping never does. Vaguely, Buzzkit feels something, like a little soft thing had rolled against his fur. He keeps dozing.
Charredpaw's whiskers quivered in excitement that her brother finally called her over to meet his new friend. She had been watching the two interact from the sidelines, carefully observing to make sure her tutoring was serving him well. And, by the looks of things, it was going very well. She padded over with some pep in her step, tail raised in a friendly manner.
"Hello!" She tried her best to hide her excitement. She had been trying her best to give him space to socialise by himself; keeping a respectful distance so she didn't overhear the conversations. Truthfully, she was ecstatic about getting called over. She had a really good feeling about this. "Just in case my brother forgot his manners, my name is Charredpaw! And you are..." She hesitated for a moment, scouring her memory. "Splitpaw, right?"
