So…from what he’s observed, he had to make friends. Or at least neutral relationships. Not too hard right? He had to make friends to fit in…to not be suspected. But what if he slipped. He told his so-call ‘friends’ if he even managed to make any. They would discard him…he could be killed for his sins, which he couldn’t blame them for. He was horrible horrible horrible.

what if they already knew? what if they were there just to get dirt on him?…he was damned eternally, wasn’t he?

Just find a kind cat DarkPaw…it’s okay. His tail was flicking rapidly behind him as he glanced around anxiously. His gaze landed on a half gray-half orange cat who looked…nice enough. He hesitantly approached the apprentice, dipping his head to them as he was near enough to be noticeable.

There ya go DarkPaw, time to put on another mask, another facade as you had for RookFire. Some odd quirks would still be noticed but any of his monstrous thoughts wouldn’t go from his head to words flowing from his mouth. “Hi- uh- I’m DarkPaw.” there, an introduction. That was normal, right?

Eveningpaw twitched impatiently, pacing around the clearing. Oh, why couldn't their mentor just get and train them already? They were going to get behind all the other apprentices. How would they ever become a warrior this way? With a mildly frustrated huff, they whipped around, only to be met with another apprentice. They immediately put on a friendly smile.

"Hey, Darkpaw! I'm Eveningpaw!" Hmm, what else? "It's great to meet ya! What brings you here?" How come Eveningpaw's never met this cat before? Most likely because they were never really a social cat. Why socialise when you've got all that time to train?

Oh yeah—definitely seemed energy filled. Should he try and match that? No no…that would just seem off for him. “Uh-” he started stumbling over his words for a moment, his body lowering to the ground and his paws shuffled. He had been day-dreaming a moment, simply silent and staring at everything and nothing at the same time. His gaze was on theirs. Something about them seemed…antsy maybe? Or it could just be himself, he was antsy.

“You too—I’m- a new apprentice…just lookin’ too uh…get to know some cats…” he gulped, sitting down in front of the cat but his body was still craned down, lower to the ground.
