Spiderkit blinked at Flowernose then turned to her sleeping littermates. She curled her tiny body near the closest one, trying to help them warm up. "Come on Foxkit and Mothkit! A-Ant-brother is here to meet us." She squeaked, touching her nose to their fur. A shiver passed through her body, they're so cold!

PumpkinKit was busy batting at a mossball, ears perked forward and tail lashing as he would make it roll one way and take off after it and then send it rolling the other way. All while dodging between cats.

As he caught up to the ball of moss once more, he swiped it with his paw, sending it bounding off in another direction. The young tom, so focused on catching it, didn't realize he had something blocking his way. Or rather, someone.

His eyes widened as he finally looked up, finally noticing a cat in his path and putting on the brakes but not before he tumbled right into them. The moss ball rolled on past and PumpkinKit found himself buried in white fur.

Coming to his senses, he quickly scrambled backwards, ears flattening and green eyes wide as he stared up at the she-cat.

"Ah- sorry...."

His gaze adverted, a bit embarrassed to have not been watching where he was going.

The she-cat put her paw up to try and help put the kit back up on his paws. She then nudged his head up, a soft smile on her face. Kind and welcoming, not a single sign of anger or annoyance. “Hush hun! You’ve got nothing to apologize for- hey, you’re lucky to have that freedom and energy!” she praised kindly, flicker her tail in front of herself. “Hey, if ya want, if my old body’ll permit, we can hit the moss back n’ forth?” she offered kindly to the kit.

Lightkit stared at his mom. "Yeah? Why am I asking then? To get told that there awake and moving and i'm just stupid?" Lightkit snorted

Lightkit hid his suprise well, blinking at his mom. Was the whispering supposed to be mysterious or scary? Pfft she just looked weird. "There dead? Why? I'm alive why aren't they." Lightkit murmured
