Dandelionmane could hardly sleep last night. They got their first apprentice, so soon after their own warrior ceremony. Did Bumblestar really have that much faith in them? They wouldn't let her down. They had to do this right.

The white furred Thunderclan warrior stared out of the den entrance, waiting for the sun to rise enough fot them to start training. They wanted to give Nettlepaw some time to at least be able to get a decent amount of sleep, just because Dandelionmane couldn't sleep didn't mean anyone else should suffer for it.

After a bit of debating, they rose to their paws and exited the warriors den. A yawn escaped their maw as they stretched, their pale orange gaze sweeping over the camp to see if Nettlepaw was perhaps up as well. They didn't think they saw her so decided to eat a quick snack before training.

Dandelionmane picked up a small squirrel, it wasn't the freshest prey but it was still good. They picked a spot somewhat near the apprentice den to settle in and eat their prey.

They ate a few bites before their gaze once more swept across camp for any sign of their apprentice being awake. They hoped that they'd made a good first impression with her at the meeting despite the shortness of their interaction.

Nettlepaw was sitting outside of the apprentice’s den. She had woken up very early, before the sun had even pierced the horizon.
Spotting Dandelionmane, she bounded up to them.
“hello..!” she excitedly mewed to them.

The pure white Thunderclan warrior was surprised by their apprentice, an apologetic smile plastered on their maw as they finished their last bite and discarded the remains "Hey Nettlepaw! Ready for your first training session? I was thinking we could quickly go over the borders, and if we have a bit of time after, I could give you some tips on hunting" They said outloud, half to themself, half to get her opinion on the idea.

”alright..!” she mewed back, before flashing a slight grin.
being an apprentice was so exciting!..
at least, she hoped it would always be like that.

They nodded enthusiastically, practically bouncing to the camp entrance, pausing only for a moment to make sure Nettlepaw was following.

Once outside of camp they stopped, thinking for a moment. which border would they start with... hmmm. Dandelionmane's brows furrowed as they stared ahead of themself, trying to figure out which border to start at

"hm, We could start at the Herondive Hollow, move onto the smallpines then finish off at the Thunderglade" They said outloud, mostly to themself but also to their apprentice as well.

They glanced back once more, giving their apprentice a nod before quicly padding off in the direction of the first border.

Upon arriving at the Shadowclan border Dandelionmane wrinkled their nose "This is the Herondive Hollow- It's where Thunderclan and Shadowclan meet! These guys are a bunch of meanies, I wouldn't wanna mess around with them" They said with a laugh, their tail swaying gently behind them

"Dawnstar is one of the scariest leaders- at least in my opinion. I've heard so many scary stories about her" they said in a hushed tone. glancing over the border as if they might be heard. They didn't truly believe she'd pop out at any moment, but they wouldn't be surprised if some warrior was spying from across the border.
