Butterflykit was, like, super bored again, and chewing on a stick does not ease her boredom.
So!
She pounces on a random nest.

PumpkinKit retrieved the mossball and followed Dawnkit to the spot they had chosen to play at, he set it down and looked at the three other kits, tail swishing.
"Alright, so, any special rules?"
He asked, taking a seat while passing the mossball to ChasmKit.
Antpaw never really liked the nursery. It was a noisy, annoying place, filled with hyperactive kits, and it also served as a memory of before his apprenticeship. Well, maybe it was at least better than the elder's den.
There's a mouse in his jaws. It's plump, and enough to fill up a hungry mother after she gives birth. Which was why Antpaw brought the mouse in the first place.
"Mom?" Antpaw meows, looking around for Flowernose. "I brought you something to eat. Are you awake?" Antpaw heard the kits had been born. He wondered what his siblings would look like, and what their names would be. Hopefully they wouldn't be annoying.
Spiderkit looked up at the big black-and-white cat carrying a mouse. She let out a tiny squeak of a mew, hiding behind Flowernose. "Who's that big cat momma?" She asked in a tiny, squeaky voice.
Who's the big cat? Momma? Antpaw eyes the kit. Such a tiny bundle of fur. And that voice would take some getting used to. It was so tiny and squeaky, like what he imagined a mouse would sound like if it could talk. So unpleasant. And that reminded him why he stayed away from the nursery and kit corrals after his apprentice ceremony. The noise could kill a cat.
Flowernose wasn't replying to either of them, so Antpaw assumed she was asleep. Understandable, since she had to take care of these little nuisances. Antpaw sees two right now. He's unsure if this is all, or if there's more kits, but he flicks his tail at the one that talked to him.
"Momma's sleeping." He meows at Spiderkit, eyes narrowing. "Tell her about the mouse when she wakes up." And just to make sure she understood, he repeats, "This, mouse." and prods the prey next to Flowernose. "Don't touch it." He warns. Kits were idiots, after all.
