She nodded absentmindedly as more apprentices were mentioned and reassigned. She actually didn't know really any of them, so nothing seemed to exciting for her.

As waspmeadow began to amble off for a nap, she noticed Stormstar listing off the names of the new mentors, and sat back down, 'might as well' she thought, tucking her tail around her paws. Then as the list of names drew to a close, one in particular caught her attention– her own?

Waspmeadow straightened her posture, now wide awake. The initial shock wore off in a moment or two, and then she felt determined– she knew she was capable of training this apprentice, she'd be the best mentor ever! Well, at least she'd try.

She stood, scanning the crowd to find her new apprentice, "salamaderpaw?" She purred curiously, weaving her way around her clanmates

The fox patterned Abyssinian's ears perked upon hearing his name be called out for apprentice assignments. Granted, he definitely wasn't expecting to receive a new apprentice so soon, especially after his previous one disappeared without a trace. Feeling a pang of guilt strike his chest, Foxleap shook his head briefly in hopes of breaking out of his impending stupor. Now was not the time to dwell in the past. Rainpaw deserves a mentor who can be present and focused, just like every shining new apprentice does.

Striding through the crowd with his strong brown paws, his sleek russet fur shone brightly in the sun as he maneuvered quickly to reach Rainpaw. Approaching the black and white apprentice, the charming warrior flashed a warm, toothy smile at Rainpaw as he dipped his head in a respectful greeting, "Hi Rainpaw, I'm Foxleap. Looking forward to starting your training!" Foxleap chirped excitedly, his bushy tail waving eagerly behind him.

THEIR LITTLE BROTHER WAS NOW HEAD LIONHEART. BUG WAS NOW THE HEAD LIONHEART? Surely they misheard or somethi- nope. nope. the clan was cheering Brokenstream's name. "BUG! Congrats! don't forget me, alright?"

And noww Cobwebfern was now medicine apprentice, cool, cool. New apprentices, yeah yeah. oh. OH. They got one. Amberdusk preeeetty easily picked the silver kit out of the bunch.. they looked feather-y enough.

"You. You're my apprentice now, huh Featherpaw?"

Featherpaw padded up to Amberdusk, and nodded softly. "Y- yeah!" she mewed softly. She still looked somewhat shocked that she was an apprentice now. Although she was 6 moons, she didn't look like it, being considerable smaller than the other apprentices at her age.

Salamanderpaw's tufted ears twitch. With all that'd happened this meeting already she hadn't expected it to keep going, but there's her name being called for a reassignment. That...huh. Yeah, that tracks. Disappointment burns red hot at the back of her mind, only to be quickly smothered. This is a good thing! She can finally get back on track. There's nothing wrong with a reassignment; she's just too much for one cat to handle, is all. The thought puts a smug look on her round little face and soon she's up on her feet looking, determined, for her new mentor.

Salamanderpaw? A-ha! "Yes! This is she!" She crows, bouncing toward Waspmeadow with her tail and chin both lifted proudly. "Annnd, I'm pretty awesome. Just so you know." Better let Waspmeadow know what's up right from the get-go.

Finally, Primrosepaw had some new apprentices to train with! For the time being, at least. Getting to her paws, she bounded over to Rosemarypaw and Drizzlepaw. ´´Hi! I´m Primrosepaw, Adderstrike´s apprentice alongside you two,´´ The Empress purred warmly. ´´Welcome to the Adderstrike Apprentice club!´´

Drizzlepaw would unfortunately be unable to understand Stormstar he would just stare at her blankly with his big blue eyes he had yet to learn that speech was a thing he did know that for some reason cats liked moving their mouths though. Drizzlepaw would also not realize that Primrosepaw was trying to talk to him either although likely to Primrosepaw it would come across as him ignoring them. It wasn't intentional though Drizzlepaw honestly meant no ill will towards them. @paedyn @Dolomedes @Fish
