Rocky looked around after waking from a long sleep. He looked around and saw a river. He pounded to it and raced into the cold water. Rocky felt the cold water soak into his fur. When he got out of the water he shook and sat down. Rocky meowed loudly to anyone nearby. He knew it would probably send him to his death.

Stormstar - RiverClan Leader

Starting off on her daily routine of checking the outskirts borders, and also using it as a chance to stretch her legs, Stormstar slowed as she picked up the scent of an outsider. She stifled a low growl of frustration and turned to head towards the river - and a loud mewling that had her claws sliding out.

Pushing through a patch of springy cattails, the RiverClan leader realized it was just a younger cat. Still, an outsider trespassing. "You're gonna scare away the prey bein' that loud," the gray-furred leader grumbled, giving a lash of her tail. "You're on my territory 'n I'd prefer if you'd get off it."

"What do you mean your territory? Where am I? Also who are you?" Rocky meowed kindly. "Sorry for being so loud, I was trying to see if my mother was here." Rocky looked at the cat with wide amber eyes.

Stormstar let out a sigh as she pulled her claws back in. Yeah, this kid was no threat. "'M Stormstar, 'n you're on my Clan's territory - RiverClan. Didn't you catch the scent markers??" It baffled her on a daily basis how often outsiders either didn't scent them or chose to ignore them. "I haven't seen any cats around so I don't think your mother is here, kid. You might have luck checkin' further in the outskirts," the leader gestured with her head to the territory behind them, past the border. Hopefully they would leave without a fuss.

"What's RiverClan? My mom probably left me because I am apparently annoying." Rocky said with a hint of humor. He looked at Stormstar and started to clean his fur. "My mom doesn't want me so my only real choice is to find someone else." Rocky looked down at his paws.

A snort came from the RiverClan leader at the kids bluntness. She wouldn't be surprised to learn if that was the truth, especially with how loud they were. "It's a group of cats I lead." Short and simple, to the point. No reason to get deep into it, especially to a stranger.

Shifting her paws, Stormstar cleared her throat. "Well... best get to searchin' then. Gonna have to ask you to leave my Clan's territory for your that though. Your mom isn't here with us." With that Stormstar took a step forward and nodded to the borders behind her, gesturing for the kid to start heading out.

"Can I-join? I can hunt-my-my mom taught me how to." Rocky said to Stormstar with hopeful eyes. "If no then I can leave if you want me to." Rocky meowed. He looked at the powerful cat and hoped this wouldn't affend her.
