Firepaw was quick to spot a lone squirrel, and she dropped into a crouch again, slowly creeping towards it.
...
Before she could leap at the prey, she made the mistake of stepping on a patch of grass a bit too loudly. Despite her instantly freezing, the squirrel scurried away, now nowhere to be seen. Deflated, Firepaw frowned and stood back up.

Firepaw scented the air just in case for another prey, and her ears perked up at the fresh scent of a sparrow. Perfect. After a brief searching, the sparrow was in her view. Now being extra careful of her steps, Firepaw slowly but surely crept up to the feathered creature, before swiftly leaping at it, catching the bird in her claws. She killed it with a swift bite to the neck, returning to where Strawberryfur was, the prey limp in her jaws.

That should be enough. Shadeclaw expressionlessly digs up the vole he buried before. Thank Starclan, it looked like Thunderclan wasn't going hungry tonight. "Let's go back to camp," he meows, voice muffled.

Strawberryfur nodded excitedly, gathering her catches and following Shadeclaw back. Glancing back to make sure Firepaw was following.

Echopaw let out an annoyed sigh. The usually friendly molly was in a bad mood. None of the cats from her patrol showed up. Ugh. What. A. Waste. Of. Time. It was getting quite late as well.


She decided she may as well take things into her own paws. She tasted the air for prey, hoping that a bountiful catch would distract her from her negligent patrolmates. Nothing in that particular area. The silver tabby travelled further north to see if anything would be there. Yes! A robin was perched on a rock. Dropping into a hunting crouch, Echopaw pounced. The bird fought for a bit, before getting away, leaving Echopaw hungry, absolutely pissed, and with bird scratches on her. No matter, another bird was nearby, about to perch near the rock. Once it did, Echopaw silently crept up to the bird, catching it with perfection. Thank you StarClan for this prey. She silently prayed to her ancestors above. Was there any other pieces of prey for her to sink her teeth into? Sadly not, so Echopaw grumpily went back to camp.

Risingstorm wasn't happy, he wasn't angry he was just disappointed with echopaw very disappointed; The tom let out a sigh before he spoke up " Echopaw he said sharply his green eyes narrowing " Echopaw you are well old enough to know not to leave camp alone everycat knows this...I'm disappointed in you." his tone was strict and slightly bitter " get back to camp I'll be talking to bumblestar about this it was an order simple and strict the hornet flicked his tail and lead echopaws back to camp.


(hey apprentices can not be out of camp alone and we have the buddy system in place there will be some consequences/pos/lh)

Echopaw's ears flattened when she heard Risingstorm. "Look, I know I shouldn't have gone by myself," she began, "But I was assigned a patrol and my patrolmates were a no-show. I didn't want Spiderthroat to get mad at me for not completing the patrol."


(sorry! as explained in character, echo was assigned on patrol but the rest of the patrol didn't show up so she went by herself. hope that helps!)

risingstorm let out a soft hiss " Echopaw you're nearly thirty moons old you should know better, and if your patrol mates didnt show you should have reported it to Spiderthroat and he would handle it from there." he meowed annoyed " Lets head back to camp now i'll be talking to bumblestar about this. the hornet sighed leading the way back to camp

It wasn't long before she smelled Echopaw's scent alongside Risingstorm's Her resolve to find the stupid apprentice waned and she let out a huff. Honestly, good riddance, if you asked her. Hopefully Risingstorm knocked some sense into her and took her back to camp, Though, nah, the guy was probably too nice for that. Shame, really. If Echopaw were here in front of her, Violetfreckle would have loved nothing more than to give her a good cuff on the ear.

Right. Hunting. Violet managed to find and catch a mouse, then another with no issues. She saw a couple feathers on the ground with Echopaw's scent all over them. Hmph. Violetfreckle found a rabbit and barely missed the thing, hissing softly to herself. Fast little thing. Finally, she caught a crow and called it a day, waiting for her patrolmates.

Mothflame flicked her tail, gazing at Lambfluff. Her partial frown grew into a warm smile.

"No worries, we'll get going now." She gave the warrior a soft purr and Wolfpaw a nod before turning towards the camp exit.

Mothflame lead Lambfluff to the Firefly Cove, tail flicking behind her as she walked.
"Cobswebs and moss... Cobwebs and moss..." The spotted she-cat muttered to herself as she scanned the clearing. She knew where cobwebs were—she'd gotten them before—so she knew exactly where to look. Perhaps moss grew in the same places?

Mothflame nosed in between rocks and flowers, searching for the familiar stringy "herb". After a moment of searching... There it was! Mothflame picked up a thin stick from the ground and gently removed the cobwebs from the ground. She moved onto the trees, searching the base of the trunk. And sure enough, there were more. She used the same stick to remove the cobwebs from the trees as well, then turned to Lambfluff.
