Was he dreaming? Was his heart really beating this fast? He could feel it hammering in his chest so fast and so hard, he was sure it was going to explode.

"I accept your proposal..."

His claws would sheath and there was a sudden urge he couldn't stop himself from performing. Hawkbite move suddenly, taking a step forward and pressing his nose into the she-cats cheek. It was a brief moment, unsure on how Mistlewhisker would take it the gesture before he'd step back once more and simply stare at her admirably.

So, it was official now, huh? Or was it? They weren't mates... per say, maybe more on the dating terms while they figured it out and how they meshed on this new level. That was fine with him too. He was too nervous to clarify, though. So, in his mind, this was simply a step up from their more professional relationship.

"Well, we can't let this prey go to waste, right?" Hawkbite would switch the topic, glancing down at the untouched prey at their paws before crouching down and tucking into his piece.
