ShrewKit waddled around the Nursery, Bored, bored boored. she thought, as she unevenly padded over to the dirt wall of the den. They looked around, kits, queens, more kits, Oooo that's a cool lookin' cat! she said as They spotted HoneyPetal. she went up to them, looking up, with big, vibrant green eyes. "Hello!" She smiled. She swished Their tiny tail, and kneaded at the dirt. Yayy, new friend! She thought, smiling to themselves.

The warrior sighed, hanging around the nursery as her green gaze flicked from kit to kit. Oh how this is the life she wished of. She would need less kit-like behavior and energy that is but…she was maturing, or at least trying to. The kits were so adorable, the queens chatting…it felt so soothing. She missed the times when she actually had her own excuse to hang around here, as WillowKit is now WillowPaw and has more responsibilities among the clan. She wanted kits of her own…but it’s not that easy. She can’t just go around stealing kits, now can she? The thought brought a small grin to her face as she continued observing.

PumpkinKit was busy batting at a mossball, ears perked forward and tail lashing as he would make it roll one way and take off after it and then send it rolling the other way. All while dodging between cats.

As he caught up to the ball of moss once more, he swiped it with his paw, sending it bounding off in another direction. The young tom, so focused on catching it, didn't realize he had something blocking his way. Or rather, someone.

His eyes widened as he finally looked up, finally noticing a cat in his path and putting on the brakes but not before he tumbled right into them. The moss ball rolled on past and PumpkinKit found himself buried in white fur.

Coming to his senses, he quickly scrambled backwards, ears flattening and green eyes wide as he stared up at the she-cat.

"Ah- sorry...."

His gaze adverted, a bit embarrassed to have not been watching where he was going.

Antpaw never really liked the nursery. It was a noisy, annoying place, filled with hyperactive kits, and it also served as a memory of before his apprenticeship. Well, maybe it was at least better than the elder's den.

There's a mouse in his jaws. It's plump, and enough to fill up a hungry mother after she gives birth. Which was why Antpaw brought the mouse in the first place.

"Mom?" Antpaw meows, looking around for Flowernose. "I brought you something to eat. Are you awake?" Antpaw heard the kits had been born. He wondered what his siblings would look like, and what their names would be. Hopefully they wouldn't be annoying.

The little grey cat sat at the entrance of the nursery, gazing into the clearing. His ears were laid flat against his head. His father was gone, but why was the heaviness on Littlekit's heart still there? Despite the fact the warrior couldn't just show up suddenly, the kit was still anxious that he would.



The cold stare that Wolfsnarl gave Littlekit was still clear in his mind, even closing his eyes and shaking the thoughts away couldn't help. He let out a long sigh, staring down at the ground. Shouldn't he be happy now? Was was he still so sad, so scared? Nothing seemed to help.
