Mmmm Crowy was sending out patrols? Lovely. From her spot by the entrance of the nursery, Firestorm listened to the assignments with half-interest. Of course, she would remain in camp, as she had done for the last 6 and a half moons now, but it was fine… it would be fine…

Or so she thought. Her head snapped up and she was drawn out of her daze when Crowtooth called her name. She was to go on patrol? And she was leading one!? Her eyes lit up with excitement before she outwardly let out a groan when Littlekit’s shenanigans were mentioned. That had been… not fun. Though she profusely apologized for her daughters actions afterward, it seemed that Crowtooth was still very unhappy about it. Oh well, she’d catch enough prey to make up for it!

”C’mon now, love. I already sai’ sorry innit? How was I sposed ta’ know that Littlekit was gonna ruin tha whole pile, hmm? She went an’ smooshed it while I wasn’t lookin! Don’t forget, I was tha one who had to get tha stink off’er. C’mon now Crowy, ya ain’t gotta be like that ~” She said, sticking her tongue out at the deputy when she got closer to him. Now then, where was this Snowblind? Were they actually blind? Oooh that could be fun!

Twilightstar returned to camp and set her herbs down as she scouted for the medicine cat. She was tired and wanted a nap, Beastspark, though nice to see again, was a taxing friend which is why she only saw him in doses.

"Lightningstorm,"Twilightstar padded over with herbs in her maw after spotting the smaller she-cat. "Sorry, it took a bit. Herbs are a bit harder to locate in the twolegplace. Here are the herbs you need." She set down the chamomile she had been carrying and moved back to allow Snowybreeze and Lightningpaw some room.

Hmm...her li'l buddy isn't out and about, it looks like. Whiterabbit stamps her feet idly, tip-tapping once again and squinting all pensive. Would it be that low to zip off now and leave an apprentice in the dust? It's not lower than she'd ever happily stoop—has ever stooped before, for that matter—but there's this annoying little shred of conscience tucked in the way back of her brain that has a thing or two to say about the idea. Goodness knows that won't last long, but while it does, she falters. She sucks her teeth. Should I go dig Spottedpaw out of the Apprentice's den or wherever? Causing a scene might be fun—she likes that kind of thing—but time is of the essence, here. The reedy she-cat forces a delicate cough out and calls out of the side of her mouth in a what she hopes is a youthful high pitch:

"Coffcoff, oh no, I, Spottedpaw, don't feel so good and may need to be dismissed from this patrol stuff..."

And then back talking like normal, walking very urgently for the camp's entrance: "Awh, no, Spottedpaw! That's too bad! It's okay, kiddo, I've got this one, you take it easy—but you could probably catch up to me on my way out to the SKY GLADE to HUNT if you startfeelingbetterbye!"

Whiterabbit's booking it, now. Come hell or high water she is going outside.

Deadmoon stalked back into camp, determinedly not looking at Twigleg. Because he was an idiot, and she was not even going to dignify him with a glance. Not that Twigleg probably wanted her glances, he was probably equally angry at her. At least Silverrose had told him to shut up as well, which was nice. Though probably not so much in support of her as just....keeping your maw shut and not fighting in front of other clans. Oh well. She was aware she hadn't actually covered herself in glory when snapping back, but at least she'd waited until they were well out of earshot of any potential fishy listeners!

We didn't see anything lurking around the border this time. There was a Riverclan patrol there, and I greeted them in order to inquire whether or not they had seen anything in the river. They had not. This much was relatively unproblematic, though perhaps a bit annoying if one was Silverrose or Twigleg. Bloody Twigleg. Twigleg was annoyed by this, and had a sulk about it. I don't think the Riverclan cats heard though, they left quite quickly as I think they were already done marking. Ugh, this was just...not a good report. Crowtooth had been all 'oh, you can handle this' and then she had decidedly not handled it. Or maybe Twigleg was just an annoyance. Deadmoon didn't really know why she was taking the blame for this whole thing onto herself, she had been intending nothing but to be friendly. Twigleg wouldn't say anything as the old grumpy tom simply waited to see if anything was to be done about him. To be honest Twigleg didn't think it was a punishable offense to be grumpy but he still remained resolute in willing to at least take his lickings like a Warrior. If there was to be punishment he wouldn't shy away from it at least. The lanky brown tabby warrior with thin legs waited to see what Crowtooth might do. @Rani @Estelle @gs29513

Silverrose added in a matter-of-factly hum, walking up beside Deadmoon as she decidedly not wanted to stand right next to the grumpy old twig -- she'd rather not the steam coming out of his ears mess up her fur. Whatever was going to happen between those two now Silverrose would stay out of.
