Re: ThunderClan Medicine Cat's Den
Poppypaw wasn’t stupid. She had gone through this - well, something that had feeling similar - once before, when her Pap had brought her in, but this time she knew she had to enter the dimly lit den alone. Harsh cough rasped through her body, wrackwracup headaches from her congested nose and burning body beneath her pelt, wobbles hardly allowing her to walk. She felt so dizzy, so hazy; she could hardly walk in a straight line - her wobbles were worse than ever, and her brittle frame looked worse for wear, the remnants of recent bloodied nose still evident. They weren’t unsual for her; she often fell, sometimes of her face and especially in her youth, and that often left her nose bloodied. But this one hadn’t wanted to stop, not for some time, and though it had now Poppypaw was finally certain - when she awoke this morning worse than ever - that it was time to go see the Springy and Frizzy replacements, throat too sore from coughing all morning to be able to call out for either medic until she swallowed with struggle, hazel eyes scanning about the den.
