Suddenly things changed. He wasn't comfortable anymore. There was stuff all around him. He was surrounded by squirming fluffy things. This was not how it had been before. For a moment he was still, as his sleepy mind worked through this new information. He didn't like it. With his head bobbing up and down as much as he could manage he let out a long squeaky call. Not that he could hear it but, his new faltering voice was letting any cat with ears know that he was here, and he was unhappy. Something inside him was letting him know that this situation was wrong. Later in life he would learn that this sensation was called hunger.

Soon he caught hold of a scent that was alluring. He wanted it! It would make him feel better! Stubby legs squirmed, driving the kit towards where he could smell his first meal. As he was slowly making his was he was forced to a stop by a fluffy wall. He shrieked at it, and then his nose started twitching. The moving wall smelled familiar. Almost comforting. He was moving towards it now. It was warm and pleasant. He buried his nose in it, what would later be known to him as a purr started up in his chest. This was a good thing, he decided.

the menace to society who would later cause confusion with thievery was too cold. Where was she even? Ohhh, she must be grown up now! wow she was very small. Well, no, everything else was big.
