Rosehawk - RiverClan Warrior

Grateful for Dusklion´s help, Rosehawk let out a relieved breath. She slowly stood up, letting Silentstrike´s head rest between her shoulder blades atop of the moss that the RiverClan Deputy had wedged between the two warriors. With a nod to Dusklion, the warrior turned to Duskleaf and Irisfrost.

´´I´ll need you two on both sides,´´ Rosehawk instructed, her tail swaying behind her. Silentstrike´s blood was clumping her dark-cream-and-white Bengal fur. ´´I can handle carrying him, but I´ll need you both to spot Silentstrike from both left and right in case he starts to slip.´´

As the dog went still underneath her, the deputy leapt off and landed next to it, claws still unsheathed incase it was just playing around. But after it didn't move for a bit, she finally drew her claws back in. "Caveclaw [ @Idiotic.Bean ], I want you headin' back to camp to get that leg checked out." She turned to look at the tom, then down at his leg. Yeah, that looked like it hurt. Parting her jaws to say something else, she was cut off by a loud yowl. Her head snapped over to see Silentstrike falling onto the ground.

There was no time now as the warrior was lying limp on Rosehawk's back. The deputy bounded over, noticing the blood coming from his head. "Careful of his head - don't jostle him around much," she ordered, claws tearing up some of the moss underpaw. Carefully she used it to dab lightly at the head wound, soaking up as much blood as she could. Head injuries were difficult, and hard to come back from. If they had lost a Clanmate here today...

Since there were no orders given after the dogs fled, Dusklion looked up. "Rosehawk
[ @paedyn ], Duskleaf [ @Concorde ], 'n Irisfrost [ @kittycatburmise ], I want you three takin' Silentstrike back to camp." That was already handled well and good. Looking around for those who were injured, she knew of Caveclaw with a nasty looking leg. Sunsetgleam, too, could use a check up. Redmire seemed in good enough shape... "Redmire [ @dino. ]," she called to the warrior, "I want you leadin' those who're injured back to camp. Rowanmane [ @Rowan ], Heroneye [ @Fits ], Goldfish [ @Blaaze ] - you go with her to start roundin' up those back at camp. Make sure warriors stick with 'paws 'n queens with kits. I don't want anyone strayin' from the group so keep an eye on them." Two Lionhearts would be good to help keep the group organized, she was sure.

"Cats who're injured, listen up!" Dusklion lifted her voice above the groups. "Head back to the temporary camp with Redmire, Rowanmane, Heroneye, 'n Goldfish. See Berrypaw if you need to - 'n I mean it. If I find out you let an injury go untreated, you won't like what happens." After having numerous situations in which cats didn't go and get their wounds looked at, the deputy wasn't taking anymore chances.

With that out of the way, she turned to glance at her brother [ @occultation ]. He looked worse for wear, that she was sure of. "...I want you goin' back to camp, too," she grunted, and though it was an order there wasn't as much bite to it as usual. "Can't have you droppin' dead as we reach the new camp. Go back with Redmire's group, get checked out, 'n then help them bring the rest of the Clan. I'll take those who're uninjured here to the new camp."

Looking back over the group now, Dusklion lifted her tail. "Every cat who isn't injured! I need you at my paws." There was a lot of work that needed to be done. The dogs that were dead needed to be dragged off the territory first so they wouldn't attract predators, and then the camp would likely need to be cleaned out as well.

cats who are injured have been instructed to follow redmire, rowanmane, heroneye, and goldfish back to the temporary camp!

cats who are not injured need to post their cat coming to join dusklion!

Silentstrike, unconscious and bleeding, had taken a blow to the head from some sort of sharp object. After he was moved away, sitting there was a sharp stone- a kind from the mountains. Someone had intended on his injury. But who..?
Suddenly, a familiar laugh came from nearby as Skypaw became visible sat atop a huge rock and laughing. He had done this. For certain.

She knew that voice. As cats were still gathering, the dark gray deputy whipped around, eyes searching for the target. Oh, so the rat had come crawling back, had he? She wasn't super injured - just a bit winded - so without much though Dusklion padded forward and cocked her head. "You gonna come down, or you want me to come up there 'n kill you?" she spat with a lash of her tail.

Wisteriawren had been pacing anxiously back and forth further from where everyone else on standby was gathered, heart beating a mile a minute against her chest with panic. Why had she been put here, to watch? Unable to help, unable to offer any sort of assistance as her Clanmates were bruised and battered. Her paws itched with the need to soothe all those hurts. Hadn't RiverClan suffered enough?

When would it stop?

One part of her wanted to think that at least being sent home with the untrained apprentices would have been better. But another part of her whispered that had she been sent home, she'd have been worse off. Unable to know if the cats she... cared about made it out alive. The former kittypet only jolted back to reality as a mutt scampered past her, whining and whimpering as if it'd been beaten to an inch of it's life - which, okay perhaps it had.

When they were gone, the short-legged gray tabby wasted not a moment in hurrying over to Dusklion's side - an anxious glance cast in Rowanmane and Fadingstar's direction - before turning to her deputy. "Can I... can I help?" Now, at least? She'd had to watch her Clanmates be tossed around. Wisteriawren was determined not to be entirely useless.

He had to duck as his dog ran off as he was still caught up under it. The warrior winced as he felt its claw drive through his back which was too high up. Another scratch…and this one stung. “OW!” he yelped, as the dog didn’t seem to be finished. It stepped on his tail (which he shouldn’t have had in its way) all as he ran off. One as it leapt over him, one as it landed.

He huffed, crouching down to catch his breath once the dogs were gone. He still hadn’t gotten quite enough air in his lungs, and the task seemed mighty. He heaved and coughed a bit until he had heard his name be called. Go…lead injured cats back? Was he not worthy of participating in whatever the other cats had to do? Why was it- no. He wouldn’t tarnish any hope cats may have in him being decent. It wasn’t a big deal, he was injured himself.

“Yes ma’am.” he said respectfully, dipping his head to DuskLion. There it was, the manners he was raised and tough to have…at least as long as he had a cat to care for him…before he was alone. Even then, while he was around Lavender and…RaccoonSun his daughter, he taught her to be the best she could’ve been.

He glanced to the scrape on his side, which now seemed to be an area he had gotten scalped of his fur. More blood had seeped through the cuts, staining his side and the areas he still had fur with scarlet red. It was all red…no skin where he was scraped was visible. He couldn’t tell how much blood was flowing anymore. It was all tingly around the cut…perhaps the pain didn’t exactly kick in yet? Yep, that was it. He still had yet to catch his breath and get a grip on the situation…right, he had to lead cats back to camp.

He shook out his fur which- damn, he shouldn’t have done because that caused blood to splatter all over the ground and himself. “Damn…” he grumbled, going in the direction camp would be. “Injured cats, c’mon over here!” he called, hoping to see RedMire soon as well.

So, everyone seemed... decently alright.
Caveclaw looked at Primrosepaw for a moment "Yeah, this leg's been broken before, it'll get healed soon." She replied.

They then heard Dusklion speaking to them.
Get the leg checked out.
Yeah, sounded about right.

The lykoi mix gave a short nod to Dusklion before limping over to where Rowanmane was standing.
She'd never spoken fully to him before, but she ibviously knew who he was.
But, words are not Caveclaw's strong suit, so she just gave a respectful nod to the tom and waited to move.

Seeing Wisteriawren come up next to her, she flashed the she-cat a grateful glance. "If you could just stay here 'n make sure the uninjured cats know where to gather while I go deal with... that." She gestured to the demoted warrior who was starting to launch off into some speech.

During his entire little speech, the deputy hadn't listened to a word. Instead of listening she had slunk up towards the demoted brat. She was silent during all of it, watching as Skypaw killed Crowglow. Yeah, that was the last straw.

[ since skypaw did not flee after he was given both an IC and OOC warning, hr kill perms have been acquired from staff ]

Claws out the deputy lunged forward, claws sinking into the back of the demoted warrior. Shoving him to the ground as she pinned him underneath, Dusklion sunk her fangs into the back of his neck, crunching down until she heard a snap. She waited until Skypaw's body stopped moving before letting go an getting off, glaring down at him. "I don't give a rats ass about any of that, by the way," she grunted as she swiped a tongue across her muzzle.

"Someone come bury this traitor in the outskirts." Looking now to Crowglow's body, she sighed. He had been a good warrior. A bit misguided, maybe, but a good mentor nonetheless. She moved his lifeless body away from the traitors and started to clean the blood from his fur.

A small-ish, grey-blue tom with folded ears and blue eyes- and short legs-(HAHA SCOTTISH FOLD MUNCHKIN BOI) came padding out of the nearby bushes. "Scuse me," he meowed. "I couldn't help but hear the racket from nearby- may I help?" He offered, tilting his head. He quietly looked towards Skypaw's corpse. "...I saw him kill a kit earlier, thank the heavens he's gone now. I can take his body to the outskirts- my home is on the border there, I'll dump his body in the lake outside my home. Name's Mac, by the way. My sister, whose name is Cheese, came this way but I'm not sure where she's gone. I'm trying to find her so I can get her home before dark- who knows what sorts of monsters lurk at night. " The tom explained himself, honesty filling his voice. He had a light Scottish accent and was offering help in a polite way. (His sister is his perfect-genes littermate I'll be introducing later.)

Why. Why why why. Dusklion was thisclose to just killing these outsiders, too. Unfamiliar scent curled around her and immediately she was up on her paws. "Get the hell outta my territory, now." Baring her fangs at the outsider, she aimed a swipe towards them with her fur bristling. "Is your nose injured?? Did not you not catch the scent markers??? This is not your territory - leave."
