Cobweb nodded and looked away and back down at Red. She was happy she got a second chance at having kits even if Red wasn't her own. "Who's the father?" she asked not taking her eyes off of Red.

Cobweb looked up at her when she said that. "I understand..." she meowed trailing of a little bit. "I lost my kits a week ago...." she meowed. "My mate left me before that."

Cobweb looked at the she-cat and her eyes softened. "I'm so sorry." she meowed, she moved her paw on top of hers. "But you are safe now." she meowed with a purr. "But dont think of your kits as a burden, they are not a fault." she meowed. She knew that some she-cats did that, after they gave birth they abandoned them to die. She then turned back to Red at his mew. "Shh." she purred leaning down and licking his tiny head.

" I would never. I know they aren't at fault. How could they be? They haven't been born yet. "
* Red calmed down when cobweb licked his head and his mews came to a stop. He stayed curled up against Cobweb's flank. *
