He stepped up in front of his leader. His heart was pounding. He didn't know how to calm it, if there was a way. Would my father be proud? His thoughts made him more nervous. The pressure was crushing him, but he had to endure. As an apprentice should. It felt weird, but it was happening.

Burnedpaw glanced at Splitpaw and nodded. He was genuinely confused, again, when Splitpaw expressed concern about burdening him. He waved his tail dismissively, once more intended to dismiss her concerns. "Don't be silly." He meowed simply, his eyes still trained on the gathering kits. "We're clanmates and denmates now. Your questions are not a burden." Now he took his eyes off the kits and turned to look at Splitpaw. His sincerity and his confusion both showing clearly on his face. "Any questions that you have are important. And as your clanmate it's partly my responsibility to help you." He meowed.

For Burnedpaw, he had always been part of the clan. But Splitpaw has been on her own for a long time. He figured she'd have a hard time adjusting to clan life, and that partly meant getting used to depending on others. "You're part of a clan now, Splitpaw." With that said, he looked back to the kits gathering below Bumblestar. "You can rely on your clanmates." Or at the very least, he would do his best to support her. She was clearly capable if Bumblestar allowed her to join, so he had the utmost faith that she'd catch up to the other apprentices in no time at all.

Acornfall could tell that he kinda freaked Yarrowcrest out a little, he gave a little chuckle and a slight tilt of his head as an apology. He sat up across from his friend, narrowing his eyes suspiciously. "Yeah? Your sure about that?" He asked. "You don't seem all that convinced!" He tried to lift the mood with a little teasing tone as he flicked Yarrowcrest's shoulder with the tip of his tail.

Splitpaw purred at Burnedpaw's answer. "You are great with words, Burnedpaw." she meowed looking into his eyes with her two different color ones. "I feel...I feel like I could come to you with my worries and I would have them reassured." she looked into his dark amber eyes, once she was done she took in his whole appearance. Then she let out a cute laugh. "You're cute too." she meowed before turning away from him and looking at the kittens by Bramblestar.

Cherrykit had spent the meeting towards the very back, hidden in the shadows as much as possible as per his usual antics. He wasn’t all to interested in actually watching the meeting because of being a good.. Thunderclan cat or whatever, it was mostly so that she can watch and learn about the group she calls home now. And soon enough she heard the names of kits called, Eve being one of them. She flicked an ear and watched the leader and crowd with renewed interest. What did the leader need from Eve? Was Eve in trouble? If so Cherrykit figured that they could probably ditch this place and find a new home. After all trouble directly from the leader in front of the whole clan was likely not good trouble to stay in. Better to run. But then Eve and the other kits were approaching.

Her friend seemed to be looking for something. His other friends? Cherrykit almost wanted to wave at him so that the Lion-like kitten knew where he was and stuff but remained still. Oh wait- this ‘apprentice’ ceremony or whatever the heck was a good thing? Right? Cherrykit racked her brain for information she has listened in on over time. But yes. It’s when they go from kit to paw. Right? Getting a better rank? That sounded right… kind of. At least that conclusion made sense up until he watched Eve glance around nervously and then eventually raised his head up to… politely decline. Wait what? This was a good thing for a cat right? If not, why would you be able to just decline something that’s bad for you? Maybe it was bad for Eve and not other cats? This doesn’t really make sense.

Against her better judgment, Cherrykit stepped out of the shadows and through the crowd until she was approaching his friend underneath the rock and directly into the leader’s gaze. Cherrykit didn’t pay her any mind though and instead focused on making his way to Eveningkit’s side and reaching and paw up to try and pull the taller down a bit for a slightly more discrete whispering session to understand before Cherrykit went throwing paws and claws with the leader of the group because Cherrykit thought that the leader was doing something mean to Eve. Cherrykit picked fights he couldn’t win, yes, but he wasn’t an idiot and was fully aware of how stupid those decisions are and picks them anyways. It was a choice.

“Eve,” Cherrykit whispered out with a slightly worried hiss, “What’re you doing? Isn’t this a good thing? Why’re are you saying no? Is this something bad? I can throw a fit, make a distraction so you can run if you need?”

PumpkinKit's ears perked forward when he heard ChasmKit's name called, his green eyes widening in slight surprise as he watched his friend step forward towards the leader.

How in the world was that fair? She was only three moons old- He was nearly just as old as her! He wanted to be an apprentice too!

He was sitting a little ways in the back, so he quickly made his way forward to see the ceremony better, squeezing through and under cats 'til he found a spot at the front.
