An ocean of blood [P]
Iris was trying to find food. She caught a whiff of mouse and followed it. She saw it, but she was too late. A cat was by it. Her ears pricked as they looked up. They probably already knew she was coming. She smelt deeply of flowers. Darn this smell! It had given her away. She would try to talk her way out of this, but if that didn't work, she would fight. @ ollie
(Don't mind the name. Had to think of one fast.)

Sun dappled a multi colored pelt as white paws padded along silently. The tom ducked through the undergrowth, tasting the air occasionally to check for prey. He was hungry. The scent of mouse hit his nose, and twitched his ears in anticipation.
He followed the scent and grinned when he saw it among the dead leaves littering the ground. He crept forward slowly, eyes laser focused on his prey. He was careful to avoid the leaves as to not scare the mouse. He whisked his tail with a smirk, and pounced, landing squarely on the mouse. He killed it with a swift bite to the neck, and he silently thanked StarClan for his prey. It smelled strongly...floral?
Oceanhorizon shurgged and picked up the rodent. He turned to where the flowerly scent was and saw a she-cat watching him. He narrowed his eyes. What was she doing, watching him hunt? He growled around the mouse. If she was confrontational, he was a good talker. If she wasn't, he was fine, if not just a bit weirded out.

She came out to where the cat could see her. Iris's fur lit up when it came into the sun. "Oh. Sorry. I was just looking for food. I haven't eaten in days." She looked at her stomach, which you could see her ribs. "Food is really scarce." She mewed like a kit. The lilac she-cat had been starving. She had traveled far looking for food or water. Iris would love a juicy mouse right now, and some water. "Sorry if I disturbed you." She bowed her head. The cat heard him growl and flinched. Don't show weakness. She was taught not to trust anybody. @ ollie
