Physicality

Appearance
Buzzkit is a black mackerel smoke tabby, striping being a faint gray overlaying his black base. He is very fluffy and has ear furnishings and ear tufts. His eyes are amber with some faint brown rimming the pupils. Buzzkit is fairly shorter than average, and he has a stocky build of sorts, sat on the heavier side for his height and having a broad back. His fur tangles and catches things in it often and easily.

 

Physical Capabilities
Buzzkit has good balance due to his stature. He has a particularly good nose and, most notably, has a very sensitive sense of taste. Buzzkit has a general aptitude for strength and has thick skin. He is a decent swimmer, thicker paw pads allowing Buzzkit to have good resistance and grip on rougher surfaces like gravel and tree bark as well. With Buzzkit’s short and muscled disposition, he cannot jump far and is a rather slow cat - and his slow reaction time does not help in that department. He handles stealthiness with ease, although his long fur may get in the way. Buzzkit would be too bad of a fisher to be taught how to fish in the first place. He has a normal-sounding male voice, not deep nor high.

Personality
Buzzkit is very nonchalant and slightly lazy, but his laziness does not get in the way of his duties - he will just get right up and get to work with no problem if asked. He is friendly, like a good buddy to any cat, but does not go out of his way to be friends with others unless they seek him out themself. Buzzkit is not afraid to bother any and every cat for interaction, though, as he gets bored easily and is almost never witnessed embarrassed or pressured… unless it comes to a crush, in which case he gets incredibly nervous. He also does not shy away from new or scary things, and, really, just does what he wants. Buzzkit is the way he is because of a very particular trait of his: at all cost, his mind does not want to acknowledge that anything bad exists. This can become a very big issue when something dire comes up, whereas he might just flee because being involved would mean having to confront how bad things had gotten.

Motivations/Aspirations
Buzzkit drives himself purely on the principle of utilitarian hedonism, whereas he believes whatever causes the most net happiness across all cats is the goal to work towards. Alongside that rules a strong urge to disengage with any bad occurrence, which inevitably causes much cognitive dissonance with the former principle. In the end, rarely, more selfish desires may rise from him anyway, like a want to put loved ones above others or to spite someone who has been antagonistic for a long while.

Beliefs
Buzzkit believes in StarClan, but in the sense that he thinks of them the same as any living cat - so, do something wrong, and his opinion will lower just the same as if they were a living group. However, all bad opinions are slashes on characters rather than of personal opinion - unless they manage to make him snap somehow. He believes that the most important philosophy is for everyone to be happy, no matter in what way that happiness arises; in general, that means a focus on compromises and a fair moral standing.

Preferences
Buzzkit prefers warm and cozy places and especially loves any soft materials that may furnish an area. He enjoys interaction, enjoys sunbathing, and, most of all, enjoys taking naps. Buzzkit is easily drawn in by the possibility of new experiences. He particularly enjoys climbing trees over other activities. His favorite prey are colorful birds - he likes to chew on their claws - while his least favorite prey is anything squishy or slimy. Buzzkit is very particularly drawn in to “softer” cats. His eye is also very easily caught by bright, unique things, from fur to plants to feathers, and he will sometimes keep a flower or feather or two he has discovered by his nest to admire.

History

Buzzkit isn’t from ThunderClan, most likely. He was left alone, that’s for sure, and was stumbling along in ThunderClan territory when some cat or another found him. The specifics - of neither his founding nor his birth situation - Buzzkit doesn’t care to remember. The furthest he will look back is to the memory of finding a welcoming nursery and excitable playmates ushering him into the group’s paws.

Physicality

Appearance
Olivekit is a calico with splotches of dusty white, tan, orange, and black (see hypokit row 2, column 3). Her fur is long and slightly feathery with a large amount along the neck, chest, and sides of head. She has ears on the small side with ear tufts and visible ear furnishings. Her eyes are hazel - yellow with green rimming the pupil - with a freckle in her left eye. For a kit, she is already fairly large, and she will grow up to be a fair amount bigger than average with a strong build. Also, she is growing in bottom fangs like Tuftedtusk’s.

Personality

Like Olivepaw and Nightshiver (did a lil research), she has a kind disposition. In fact, she is rather gentle and unassuming, oftentimes meek. Her voice is soft, and she makes a point to please whomever she interacts with, having an especially soft side shown to the younger and injured. It is easy for her to get stressed and pushed to an edge, however, at which point an unprecedented part of her reveals itself: when emotional, she becomes unpredictably irrational in behavior - oftentimes leaning towards targeted anger - and will lash out, even physically. In the aftermath, she is always devastated at her own impulsivity. As a clan member, she is happy to accept tasks and will go out of her way to campkeep and check up on others, but will also stay in the background and not interfere with any interactions - good or bad - unless called upon or an issue becomes dire, this being founded under the belief that she may make things worse unknowingly. She will especially cling to those she has attached to.

Motivations/Aspirations

Going into the future, she simply wants to be as helpful as possible, and she will evaluate her own worth based on how helpful and “good” she has been for during specific events, for specific cats, and/or for her lifetime. She attaches to cats easily if they are in proximity for an extended time or if they have a few particularly kind personal interactions, making her have a rosy view of them and be more gullible to their words, as well as making her particularly eager to please them - her immediate family is automatically on this list. Thusly, her interests reflect those around her, most notably those she has attached to.

Preferences

She prefers warmer, cozier environments, and gets put on edge by complete silence and large, empty spaces. She loves sharing tongues, prey, and duties, and especially loves sunbathing. Her favorite prey are frogs, and her least favorite are mice. She admires everything because she sees everything as beautiful in a quaint sense - although this may be shattered if she witnesses horribleness - with a particular fondness for, for whatever reason, any and all leaves and their unique shapes.

Traits

She can not swim. Her smelling, hearing, and taste are all average. She is strong, resilient, and excels at physical tasks, and she combines a mix of her rational and impulsive parts into a force on the battlefield - although she will not deeply injure until she gets caught up in the emotion of it all. She has a quick reaction time, but she is not fast. She can jump long and high, but struggles to be fast enough in leaping to catch things. She can be very quiet, but struggles with the overall art of stealthiness otherwise. If taught, she could learn how to fish to the same extent as hunting on land.
