Typically, Wormbite would prefer to keep his distance with the younger generation if possible. He did not hate them, but they were.. difficult to talk to, typically. Still, he wanted the best for them and was working his way on helping them improve their skills. He was a bit rusty with talking to younger cats though much less teaching them, so that's where Frigidfang came in. A younger warrior, but hopefully decent.

The oriental padded up to the tom, dipping his head in greeting. "Hello. Would you like to spar?" Simple, and straight to the point.

Wormbite's quiet approach startled the young tom, but thankfully he didn't quite show it other than jumping the smallest bit when the older warrior spoke up. Which didn't matter anyway, because Wormbite was blind. Thank the Gods. A simple request, but one that brought a small smile to the warrior's face nonetheless. "It would be my pleasure," he responded simply. The black and white cat stood up and carefully headed toward the entrance to RiverClan's temporary camp. "After you."

wormbite nodded shortly at frigidfang. the tom appeared polite, perhaps this would indeed go well. without another thought, the oriental set off into the territory. he had a noticeable limp, but still managed to keep up a decent pace. the dull ache was something he was content with it at this age. after finding a smooth, decently large clearing he would walk to the middle of it before turning to face frigidfang's direction.

wormbite took a few steps back, dropping into a defensive position. "you can have the first blow, " he hmm'ed, tail swishing back and forth. it was easier that way, to test out frigidfang.
