Overview: As Eaglepaw grew up, she grew resentful of the cruel and thankless world she lived in. RiverClan was a mess, and unstable leadership, treasonous warriors, and what must have been StarClan laughing at them, drove them out of the forest. She hated every single one of them for many long moons, even as she healed from battle wounds and emotional scars. But now, she knows her place is in the clans, and has put her resentment aside in favor of hope. Eaglepaw sometimes suffers from crippling paranoia that prevents her from trusting cats who she would otherwise care deeply for.
She is desperate to be cared for and given the security she never had as a kit, though she is likely to self-sabotage by refusing to trust cats who have good intentions for her. Mossfreckle (@/elio) - Her relationship with the herbalist is basically non-existent. With her mother dead and her family officially broken, Birdecho feels the need to shed all her previous attachments, lest they bring her back to who she was before she was made a warrior.
Overview: From a young age, Birdecho had been enthusiastic and full of a deep love for life. She loved her family, especially her mother and (forcefully) adopted older brother, Mossfreckle. No matter what happened, Birdecho remained positive and cheerful--often to the detriment of the clan's perception of her. As she learned how to speak, a young Birdecho would only speak using other cats' voices. When her eldest full brother, Smokekit, was found dead and half-eaten in the medicine den, Birdecho developed a strong aversion to the thought and act of violence. She started having severe intrusive thoughts about hurting her family, and this tormented her for moons. As an apprentice, Birdecho noticed that her family continued to implode. More siblings died or disappeared, Lostspark and Darkfall separated, and Birdpaw's tentative relationships fell apart. Then Lostspark died, and Birdecho shattered. She was practically catatonic for two moons, until she was involved in a battle with rats and snakes, in which she was able to make peace with a part of herself through senseless violence. Fun, right? Soon after, Birdecho was given her warrior name. She vowed on that day to never be the weak sibling again. She would be strong, but only for herself.
