Windkit stood tall, tail lashing behind her.

"Still!" She huffed, then brightened up in a second. "Hey, that means you'll get apprenticed before me, right? I bet you could teach me some things before I become an apprentice!"

"Yup!" Windkit nodded, moving to a sitting position, naturally curled tail wrapping around her paws. She thought about what to talk about for a second, before getting an idea. It was an exciting thing to talk about!

"What do you think your warrior name is going to be?" She asked Fallenkit, grinning. "I hope I get something good! Like Windclaw! That sounds scary and strong! Or maybe Windstorm! Like my ma!"

Fallenkit had never been asked this question before. Maybe... She paused to think. Maybe... Fallenleaf? Or Fallensky! This was getting her worked up and energetic, so she bounced up.

Windkit sat in silence for a few moments, unsure of what to say. Their little playtime had only lasted a brief moment, and it was becoming more and more awkward. If she didn't say anything soon, the awkwardness would go off the charts! She haphazardly searched her mind for something to say, before getting an idea.

"How many cats do you know?" Windkit turned to Fallenkit, her dual coloured eyes fixed on Fallenkit's similar dual coloured eyes, expression bright and cheery. "You know, like Twilightstar, Crowtooth, ooh, Lightningstorm... And a few warriors? Maybe apprentices? I think it's good to know apprentices, since we'll be getting apprenticed in a few moons."

I know lots of cats! Fallenkit boasted, her blue and green hetreochromic eyes shining. Like Twighlightstar, crowtooth, rabbitpaw, Lightningstorm, maggotpaw, finpaw, and maplekit! She ended her semi-long list, and added, If it counts, I also know you and my mama, Daywhisper! She smiled lopsidedly.
