Ravenpaw had went to sleep, like every other night.
But something was off.

Maybe it was all the flowers.
She doesn't usually really pay attention to whatever she dreams, but this seems... different.

The black cat with sun-rusted fur looked around curiously, her confusion growing every second.

This was one of her happier dreams. She loved it.

Firepaw didn't quite remember ThunderClan territory having this much flowers, but it still filled her with joy nonetheless. There were so many varieties, varying from colour, to shape, to size, and even scent! As Firepaw bent down to pick a deep purple, almost black, flower, she nearly jumped out of her fur. In the distance, she could see another cat. Who could it be? Firepaw lifted her head, now attention on the strange dark-furred cat. After a while of hesitation, Firepaw padded towards the cat.

"Hey," she called, voice low as to not startle the cat. "Who are you...?" They seemed... Familiar. Firepaw couldn't make out a scent, however. Was this an outsider? A rogue? A kittypet? A cat from another cat?
StarClan, there were so many cats Firepaw didn't recognise.

My fault for going missing...

She looked back at the cat, giving them a warm smile.

Weird.
Aren't your dreams only supposed to have cats you know or something?
Okay, well, she's seen that bright coat in camp before, but she'd never talked to the other cat.

Ravenpaw slowly, and cautiously, for some reason, moved closer "Hello." She said in her usual blunt tone of voice "Ravenpaw."
A short and simple reply.

Was this...
Was this the other cat's...?
No, that doesn't make sense.

"Ravenpaw?" Firepaw tilted her head. "Have we... Met?" Firepaw wasn't too familiar with younger apprentices, given she was gone for a couple moons. Where was she?
Suddenly, she felt a little too aware of where she was. This has never happened before. She never knew if she was in a dream or not! And why would this cat be in her dream? And StarClan, she'd forgot to introduce herself!

"Oh! Uh, I'm Firepaw. It's... Nice...? To meet you?" Her final sentence sounded much more like a question than a statement, and she hated it. This was weird. It really has never happened before. Did this cat know they were in a dream? Was this cat even real?

This was a strange feeling.

"I don't believe we have." Ravenpaw replied, looking around for a moment, trying to figure out what was going on.

Based on the way Firepaw was talking, she didn't seem to sure about what was going on either.
"Is this your dream? Or...?"

Ravenpaw has never been so confused.

Oh great, this was a dream, and judging by the way Ravenpaw acted, she was feeling the same thing Firepaw was. She didn't know what to tell the other cat. She just started for a moment, before nodding slowly.

"Uh- y-yes, I think so," Firepaw's eyes widened dramatically. "B-but don't take my word for it! I might be wrong! Maybe I'm in your dream! ... Or something."

Firepaw' figetted, shuffling her paws, her tail twitching nervously.

"Uh- so any idea why this would be happening?" Firepaw said after long silence. She didn't expect Ravenpaw to answer back, not in full detail, at least. She didn't seem much of a talker. That was fine. She'd spoken with many non-talkers before.

Like Silentpaw-

No, no. She couldn't think about him, not now.

She looked back to Ravenpaw, giving her a bright smile.

So it was probably Firepaw's dream.
How odd.

"No clue. I don't know much about dreams." Ravenpaw replied "Maybe someone in the clan does though."
She was in another cat's dream.
Which couldn't be normal.

"Have you ever heard of anything like this?"

Has she ever heard of something like this? She tried to remember if she'd heard anything about cats in other cats' dreams.

"No, I don't think so," Firepaw replied, voice low, though she highly doubted there was anyone listening. "You could, uh, ask someone, when you-or I- wake up? I-I'm not too sure how this happens and why it happens- oh are you a ThunderClan cat?"

"Oh, yes, I'm from ThunderClan." Ravenpaw replied.
She looked around again before looking back to Firepaw.

"Do you think Bumblestar might know anything about it?"
Well, why wouldn't she, right?
She is Bumblestar, after all.

Firepaw blinked at the mention of the ThunderClan leader- her Clan's leader.

"Bumblestar?" She murmured, voice soft. "Yeah, of course. Bumblestar, she should know, shouldn't she?" She turned around, looking at the place of lush greenery that was apparently her dream. Should she be freaking out over this? Was this a bad thing? A good thing? What did it mean for both her and Ravenpaw?

Firepaw quickly searched around her for something. She didn't know what, but she knew she'd find it.

Then, she found it.

The deep purple flower she had been wanting to pick before she had seen Ravenpaw. With one Swift motion, she removed it from the ground, biting part of the stalk off in the process. She placed it gently on Ravenpaw's head and stepped back, smiling.
She wasn't sure if it was due to the dream, but Firepaw was surprised to realise that she knew the name of this particular flower.

The Tall Bearded Iris, otherwise known as the Raven Girl.
