Coyotepaw silently slipped into camp, his eyes narrowed as he made sure no one had seen him. The debris littered tom had agreed with Wormpaw to find Vine and relay messages from him to her. In return, Worm promised Coyotepaw he’d keep his bedding clean and soft. He was fine with this deal, but if he got in trouble he’d be using Worm’s pelt for his bedding. He sighed softly as he glanced around camp, Worm must be out with a warrior or something. He’d tell it later, for now, time to rest and relax.
The brown-based black rosette tabby yawned, padding toward the apprentices' den. He took his place in his nest, noting some feathers and down throughout his nest. He grinned, good. At least Worm was keeping up his half of the deal. He sat, licking his paw and running it over his face, dislodging as much debris as possible. He soon moved on to the rest of his pelt, though was unable to reach a couple of spots.
Once he deemed himself clean enough he lowered himself into his nest, settling in carefully before wrapping his tail neatly around himself. A low rumble rose in his throat as he purred softly. Finally some quiet, he could get some sleep in now, right?
