The WindClan leader trailed quietly behind Mushroomglow trying not to find this as annoying as it felt. She didn't mean to be harsh, but WindClan's been picking up several kits lately. Between Cottonkit, Ashkit, the Snowybreeze's miracle kits, Leopardsong's future litter, Eaglesong's recent litter, Bravebird's litter, and her litter on the way, WindClan's going to be swamped with kittens soon enough. Reconstructing the nursery and making it larger might be a good idea.

The leader took a seat as they found Deadmoon's patrol. She eyed the kitten, and then looked over at Deadmoon interested in an explanation before she started asking questions.

Oh stars above, she was going to have to explain this, wasn't she? She hadn't been made leader of the patrol, and then she'd sort of taken control in the unprecedented (not unprecedented but rare) scenario and now she had to explain this crap to Twilightstar even though she didn't care one iota at this point what happened to the child. It wasn't her kit, wasn't anyone she cared about's kit, she just didn't want to deal with this anymore. Deadmoon was getting surer by the moment that she might just lose it, momentarily squeezing her eyes shut and trying to focus. Just tell Twilightstar what happened, you don't have to ask for the kit to stay or anything. It's fine. It's all fine.

We left camp, came here, found our herbs. All the usual stuff. she began, words clipped. Her tone was just a tad strained. Then we noticed an unfamiliar scent, went to check it out. Found a child. Technically the child had approached them, but that was really a matter of semantics. Deadmoon couldn't be bothered to try and explain, she just wanted to be done with this and go on with the normal herb patrol which she normally actually enjoyed because it was something she was actually good at and now there was another thing that she wasn't good at and now she was being all dramatic again stars ABOVE why was she like this today?

She say's her name's Luna, used to be a kittypet but got nabbed by a bird of some kind. Got dropped nearby, and now she's looking for someone to fix her up. That was all of it, wasn't it? That was all of the things the troublesome little hairball had told them. Deadmoon wasn't entirely sure how the kit knew that cats could fix wounds and that they would have one of those cats, maybe it was just a lucky guess, maybe her parents had talked to clan cats at some point. Right now it didn't really matter, she just had to relay the information to Twilightstar and let the leader decide and then she could take her poor, lonely herbs back to Lightningstorm. @CollapsingStars @Ameythistmoon @Moonraven @CloudlessEve

Luna looked fearful but she swallowed her fear "I was tooken by a large bird and droped nearby, look." she says showing the leader her untreated scraches "I just want to get my scraches treated before I try to find my home it seemed to be uhh a weeks walk? Mabie more?"

Deadmoon looked as salty as Leechscar when he was stuck with some mess he wanted nothing to do with. She might have laughed if they weren't in such a situation.

"Alright, thank you. Go ahead and finish your patrol. I don't need you getting into trouble because of this." The leader dismissed the three with a wave of her tail. She gave the kitten her full attention and glanced at her injuries.

Twilightstar was exceedingly confused about how the cat knew anyone here could help her, especially since she was a kittypet. They don't get healed by cats, twolegs did all their caring for them. Then there was also the weirdness that she knew any cat here could treat her. If she were merely asking for help, that'd be one thing, but something about this rubbed the leader's fur wrong.

The fact that she knew how far she was from her home was weird as well. Twilightstar wasn't one to turn away kittens in need, but this kitten was a little too strange for her. She smelt of fear but seemed fine otherwise. Her injuries didn't look that bad, at least not enough for her to go and fetch one of their medicine cats.

"I can patch you up and take you to the twolegplace." She figured some wet moss to clean the scratches and some cobwebs to bind them until Twilightstar dropped her off at the twolegs places should do. The twolegs could take care of her. Since they were already in Twilight Falls, she padded over to the rocks near the fall and grabbed some wet moss growing the stones. She returned to Luna. "Press this against your scratches while I find some cobwebs." She should be able to find some marigolds around here, she only needs a petal or two.

Mushroomglow picked up the herb she had set down, carefully holding it between her teeth. She looked at the others. She gestured towards heading towards the camp. She didn't know if they were ready to leave or not, so she waited to see.

Dreamsky padded into Twilight falls with Moonbee and looked down at the river "First I will explain" She starts to say turning her head to Moonbee "Then I will do it and then you do it!" she says as she turns to Moonbee "First starting with Swimming"

Moonbee sat by the edge of the river, she looked up at Dreamsky with wide eyes, she listened to what the she-cat was saying.

"Ok so you paddle your legs to float like this" she says paddling her legs "then to swim paddle in a direction" Paddles as she shimmys on land very slowly "now I'll swim in the water" she hops in the water and starts swimming the way she did on land "Now you try its ok I'll get you out if you start to drown" she says waving Moonbee to join her in the water

Moonbee nodded, she walked into the water. It was cold, she closed her eyes and did exactly what Dreamsky said to do. She paddled her legs and started to swim left and right. Her eyes widen. "I'm doing it." She said happily.
