Snow nodded and sniffed the air. " Vole. " She meowed and headed into a dark room. She glanced around and shuddered.

Box watched her impressed with her bravery. He looked around realizing he was alone. After realizing his situation he quickly but quietly rushed after her. He let her hunt slightly embarrassed at his failure to catch the mouse. Seeing she had the vole under control and settled down to watch. Maybe he could get tips from her?

Snow dropped into a crouch and slowly padded towards a dark corner. She narrowed her eyes and pounced. The vole squealed and tried to get away but Snow hooked it with her claw. She bit down on its throat, killing it. "Vole!" Snow cheered and picked it up in her jaws. She dropped it in front of Box and smiled.

Snow dropped into a crouch and slowly padded towards a dark corner. She narrowed her eyes and pounced. The vole squealed and tried to get away but Snow hooked it with her claw. She bit down on its throat, killing it. "Vole!" Snow cheered and picked it up in her jaws. She dropped it in front of Box and smiled.

“That was a great catch!” Box bounced excited. “How’d you do that so easy! You’re incredible!” He smiled happily. “Should we split it?” He looked at Snow for an answer. His nose turned up searching for more prey. He didn’t want to deprive Snow of enough to eat. His stomach growled in response. He sighed and looked down at his stomach. I guess I’m hungry too.

Snow frowned and shook her head. "Eat." She meowed and pushed the dead vole toward her brother. "Catch more." She meowed and indicated herself. Snow nodded and ran further into the shadows, where she thought more prey was hiding.

Box barely chewed the vole. After he had finished glanced at her watching her progress. He decided that if he went after her he’d be more of a hinderance then a help.
A crunching noise startled him. He trotted to the entrance and tried to peer through the shadows. Not being able to see were the noise was coming from made him nervous. He sat there a moment wondering if he should check it out. “Hello?” He said it quietly as to not disturb Snow’s hunting. The crunching noise stopped. His heart pounded harder.

Snow ran out of the shadows, carrying a.. hawk. A small hawk! She put it down and looked around anxiously. "Bird." She whispered and shivered.

Box jolted around and looked at her. His mouth dropped open when he saw what she was carrying. Noise forgotten. "How'd you do that!" He stepped towards her. Just then a loud crashing noise came from behind him. It almost stopped his heart. He turned his head so quickly he thought it would break his neck. His fur stood on end.
